We had enough of the old fluorescent light, could go on the kitchen and get what you want and out before the light came on. So we decided to go for this light. Its absolutely brilliant, so easy to fit with just the two wires to wire up. It's that light in weight that it doesn't matter where you screw the holdings in the ceiling. We were amazed at the quality of the light, nice and bright and alot better than the old 6 foot fluorescent one I took down, it even has 3 settings for cool warm ect but we have ours on bright. It came next day and was installed within a hour of arriving. I would highly recommend this light and its s Alot cheaper to run which is a bonus in today's current climate. 5 star across the board plus it looks so much nicer on the ceiling, so much more upto date.

Great light. Three options on colour and great illumination.

Bought these because I couldn't decide between cool, warm or daylight and this lets you choose between them. Selection between the modes is simple but as it's a small switch on the light itself chances are you will choose one setting and leave it (daylight is perfect for a garage by the way). The light itself is surprisingly bright without being overpowering and feels is sturdy enough - metal backing with a plastic diffuser. Cable runs half the length of the light, would have preferred a little longer but made it work with existing wiring and a junction box. They provide some cheap spring loaded terminals which I chose to swap for something more substantial in an actual junction box. My biggest complaint is the first one I ordered was missing a mounting bracket. The box said if there is anything missing to contact the seller rather than ask for a refund, but no information on how to actually do this. I tried everything but in the end gave up, and had to send the whole thing back and order a brand new one for one missing bracket. If this happens enough to print this instruction on the box I don't know why they don't also include an email address.

Surprisingly bright light with the option of have it display a cold light or much warmer but still bright light. Mains operated and works great with a remote control unit sold by Amazon.

Let me start by saying we bought 2 of these - this 120cm one first, and we liked it so much we bought a second 60cm one. Things to like are: #1 the ability to select the colour temperature. We were not sure what would work best, this was a replacement for a fluorescent fitting - the middle setting is a pretty good match. The warm is very yellow, the daylight is definitely cool. But we now have the ability to change the light instantly if we change the decor. #2 the brightness. The old fluorescent light was 5ft, this is 4ft, and we changed the orientation so we dont have an exact side by side comparison, but we are very happy with this as a replacement. #3 very light, flexible and seems quite robust. The 120cm strip runs at around 40w, so it does get warm. Now for the things not to like.: #1 the cable. This is quite short, and may limit how you have to place the strip. But the BIG issue is that there is no way for the light to fit flat on a surface unless you either cut a hole in the surface to fit the cable into; cut a chunk out of the side of the light for the cable to pass through; or live with the light not sitting flush where the cable comes out. We fitted the small light under a wall cabinet, and just put up with it not being flush since its not too visible. But the one in the ceiling involved cutting a channel into the plaster. A real pain. Note that its not practical to change the side the cable comes out - its soldered on to a PCB, and held in place with a blob of sealant. #2 The clips also make the strip sit slightly proud of the surface - just not enough to allow the cable past though! They are fiddly and you do need to take some care to ensure they are in alignment. Overall, the pros well outweight the cons, and I would consider buying another one if required - but only after checking how to deal with the cable!

Äntligen så fick jag det ljus som jag ville ha i köket! Armaturen är lätt och det var bra att det fanns olika inställning för Kelvin och jag kör på mellanläget. Enkelt och lätt att sätta upp. Eftersom jag inte vill sätta upp armaturen direkt i taket så använder jag mig av ett takfäste, där jag sätter fast armaturens fästen. Och då armaturen är så lätt så blir det ingen påfrestning på takfästet. Bilden visar fästet för rummet. Att jag köpte två är en bra investering eftersom att jag kommer att sätta upp den andra armaturen i mitt rum, där jag också behöver ha ett bra ljus. På grund av enkel installation, ett bra ljus, att de är lagom stora och att de är snygga så rekommenderar jag dem!

Ich hatte ursprünglich mal zwei Lampen bestellt für einen selten genutzten Kellerraum. Ich war so von der Qualität und der wunderbaren Ausleuchtung überrascht, dass ich noch einige weitere Paare gekauft habe, die ich jetzt als helle Zusatzbeleuchtung in Garage, Kriechkeller usw. montiert habe. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich natürlich erst in einigen Jahren berichten...
