Works well. Range not massive
In the past I've wired up my own equivalent to this using relays to switch the polarity of the power going to the motor. This is obviously far more convenient and it works well but I did find the range of the remote control to be a bit limited. Maybe it's just down to the location where the motor is installed.Only downside is that there's no way to control it other than with the remote. A set of contacts that could be wired to a microcontroller would be great but I realise that's not something everyone would want or need.

Neat unit
A neat unit if somewhat expensive that will control doors and curtains that use a linear actuator. Must be numerous other uses in light mechanics that it would work well with. Small hand held wireless transmitter. Very neat and slim
