The backlight is far too bright at night, even with the reduction, so I have it disabled, for now. The red LED that light up the dial, however, is sufficient at night to light up the entire gauge...So, I am going to use a relay to invert the signal from the interior lighting so that the backlight is on during the day and off at night using my car's sensing system.

Must have gauge in a boosted car
This gauge is great. It does the job and looks amazing. Mechanical gauge and it was easy to install, 4 wires only. It includes vacuum house and T as well.. I'm looking forward to get another one and make a tutorial video in my YouTube channel in the near future.G2G Builds

Good price, better than most
Does the job right. Haven’t had any issues since installed.I’m not too crazy about all the colors just because I don’t use themBut it’s good for those who use them

Looks good
It looks good but I had to ask for a replacement since the first one I got wasn't calibrated. The second one is ok but it is not very accurate. It shows -17 vacuum when I can read -22 on datalog. Whatever it looks good and it's cheap

Multiple issues, Generally bad quality
I understand that many people have success with this gauge, but I would warn others that it’s a gamble.I received mine and after following the correct install procedure, my boost/vac readings were off by nearly 40% in some cases. The needle also did not sit at 0 and would jump to different values if I knocked on the gauge. This was all verified with another gauge and a boost tester.Additionally, the color choice would randomly reset to blue occasionally, and sometimes remember the color.Overall, there just was to be way to many issues with this unit for me to ever purchase again. Went with autometer after and have had no issues. Clearly there isn’t any real form of quality testing despite how easy it would be.
