after using a Cuisinart 4-cup coffee maker for more than ten years and having replaced the unit four times, I have finally abandoned drip coffee makers. I heat 46 ounces of water to boiling. Twenty ounces go into the mug to warm it while I make the coffee. Six ounces to wet the filter and slightly warm the carafe (which is then poured out). Add 4 (or 5) tablespoons of coffee and pour over remaining 20 ounces of water from a YOLIFE Small Pour Over Coffee Gooseneck Kettle. By the time the pour over is done, the coffee mug has been warmed to perfection, and I'm enjoying the best coffee I've had in a very long time. No more bitter taste! Win-win!

Makes great coffee but pot is very fragile. First bump in the sink and it was broken.

I’ve used these before but not had a carafe and based part on reviews and the brand I bought it. The only problem is that it doesn’t make clear that only the carafe is glass, the rest is plastic. At the very least I thought the lid would be glass. The price point is great and it is a beautiful carafe and the reusable filter makes great coffee so I’ll probably keep it but these are details that should be made clear.

This simple pour over system lets you make great coffee, especially if you make only one cup or mug at a time. It can be used to make several cups of coffee at once, slowly, but the thin glass of the carafe makes a poor insulator, so your coffee will be lukewarm if you brew multiple cups worth into the carafe. I also worry that the thin glass will break too easily. The metal filter works very well though. It would be even better if the plastic cone that holds the filter had a wider flange that would fit on a wider range of mugs or cups so I could brew directly into my mug. It only fits on one mug of the many in my kitchen.

WHAT A DELICIOUS DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU GET IT RIGHT! YUMMMMMMO. NOW I CAN TRULY SAY MORNINGS HAVE CHANGED FOR NOW. THIS WOULD EVEN SUFFICE FOR TWO MORNING COFFEE DRINKERS. EVEN IF ONE WANTED MORE CAFFEINE, THE EASE WITH WHICH THIS LITTLE BREWER IS NO PROBLEM. AND EVER SO CUTE, AS WELL!
