As others say, this filter is for high-flow requirements (race track driving). Bear in mind that Indycar race cars don't even use oil filters.For street cars & normal driving, you're better off buying a filter with higher filtration where flow is not as much of a concern.

Not able to evaluate but looks will allow more oil circulation, obviouslly you need a good oil (recommended or better quality then your car manudfacturer) I am using Penzzoil Ultra Platinum

This Filter was Fantastic in my 2009 Honda Civic EX-L. I drive over 100 miles a day in my Honda Civic and with this filter I have seen a significant increase in my acceleration while I'm driving. And I have used in the past three oil cycles royal purple 5W 20 which is guaranteed to last up to 15,000 miles between oil changes. I just switched over to a bosch oil filter and lost all of that acceleration... next time I will be using this HP racing oil filter in my 2009 Honda Civic that has over 200,000 miles and runs like a gem. I change my Oil per the recommendation of 6000 miles for this filter but have pushed it to 9000 in the Winter and it ran great from start to finish

Clearly states "not for highway driving" on the box, but nowhere on the product listing. This is strictly for racing vehicles that prioritize performance over high-quality filtering. Even if this filter fits your car, it is not made for normal driving.

I called Fram, the manufacturer of this filter. They said it is NOT for use on street vehicles. It is for short term use when low resistance is needed on a race track. It will not filter the oli as well as the one's made for street use, and I was told do not use it.
