I bought these mainly for the smoke detectors I have around the house. For low-power stuff, they work just fine, no issues so far. They’re definitely more affordable than other name brands, which is great if you need a bunch at once.Just keep in mind these are zinc carbon, not alkaline or lithium, so they’re not meant for high-drain devices. I wouldn’t use them in anything that needs a ton of power or constant use.They came well packaged, none were leaking, and I appreciate that they’re made without toxic stuff like mercury or lead. Good deal for backup or light use, but probably not your go-to for heavy-duty gadgets.

Swapped all smoke alarms w these. I was using energizer and it kept beeping days after I used them. I put these in and no issues.

It works well we use it for our smoke detector

I purchased a 10 pack January 2024 I used 3 batteries from the pack. I use them for smoke detectors. The first battery I used from the pack did not last more than a year in the smoke detector. Now in May of 2025 I had to replace another one of these batteries in a smoke detector. Unfortunately the 7 remaining batteries are dead. As soon as I installed one, the smoke alarm low battery “chirp” started again. I tried the same battery in 2 other working smoke detectors to check if it was the smoke detector that was the problem, but they both “chirped “ low battery. I continued this process until I found out that all the rest of the batteries were dead too. The company advertises a 3 year shelf life. These batteries are not worth the hassle of dealing with the chirping smoke detectors and only being able to get some use out of 3 of the 10 pack. I hope this helps you to avoid buying these batteries. I will not buy this brand again.
