Pangea Audio Mega Large Sorbothane Feet 4 Pack

Tried others ... which all stared to collapse under my vintage Citation amps (the big ones at +300 watts RMS per ch) ... have had for two months now and no sign at all of collapsing ... unlike the others (even bought rated for +50lbs per foot (100 lb cum) from the other guys ... they collapsed within a week (amps are 64 lbs total ea.) ... seems to isolate well ... helps with cooling (confirmed amp cavity temp after 2hrs use stays at 126 F ... before feet but with muffin fan ... cavity was always +148.6 F ... allowing air to be drawn from bottom as well as top reduces cavity temp by 22.6 degrees ... (ambient is 80oF ) ... didn't buy for heat disipation ... but it is an unexpected benefit ...

Bought these for my Musical Fidelity Integrated Amp (40+ lbs). No real noticeable improvement in sound. Pangea recommends the feet not be mounted under the units feet, which was disappointing to me as I wanted to raise the amp further off the shelf for air circulation/cooling. When mounted the Pangea feet compress to about the same height as the stock feet. I also question the wisdom of this as the feet of the unit are meant to support the weight of the unit and attaching the Pangea feet elsewhere may compromise the integrity of the frame. Easy to install. Not sure I'd buy them, again.

I bought these to isolate my turn table. Before was getting a feedback loop from the subwoofer bass. Added these feet and now the volume can be cranked and all is well. Expensive for 4 pieces of rubber but these have the consistency of gummy bears. Not expensive for a turn table that can now handle some serious vibrations. I would give them a 5 star rating if they were less expensive or if they came with threads to replace cheep feet on a turn table.

Good isolation of vibration for my Boulder amplifier.
