as an armed security officer a good light is your friend, I've been carrying a well known LED rechargeable but wanted a smaller/quicker light at times, after a friend of my brother gave him an iTP SC1 (one battery) I knew thats what I was looking for but I wanted a longer lasting, brighter one so I got the SC2 (2 batteries), it has an on-off tail cap switch but has a seperate button by the pocket clip to preset it to one of four different functions, 3 brightness levels and a fast strobe, set it on one of these functions and it will stay there while you turn it on and off with the tail cap, it's a very bright light and the strobe is so bright and fast I've disoriented people even inside a well lit building

As bright as you need a handheld to ever be, intuitive analog brightness control, reverse clip fits on hat brim, mine has been run over in a parking lot and put through a wash and dry cycle by accident, with no discernible effect on performance. Buy ten of these.

This is a top quality product. I'd recommend purchasing extra batteries when you purchase the flashlight - since they my not be in stock at your convenience grocery store. I make my kids each keep one in their school backpack and I use it on my boat.

Third one i;ve bought and never had a problem with any of them, all of them still work great, only downfall is batteries can be pricy if u dont know where to shop.

The smallest and brightest flashlight I have ever seen. I wanted a to down size and lighten my duty gear without sacrificing brightness. This light does it. You can also use rechargeable batteries.
