I love Sennheiser products
I love Sennheiser products! Sound is clear especially at high and mid-range, not so much bass. Am using this with a voice recognition program and it works very well. Do not expect premium packaging especially at the price since it came in a plastic bag through USPS. . However, for it's performance, expect a premium sound. I'd definitely buy again.

Solid product; great noise cancelling
I bought this despite the relative lack of reviews out there on this product. I guess USB headsets aren't exactly the sexiest tech products to review. They're absolutely critical for my job though. I spend much of my day in remote conference call meetings. Many people try to get by with the built-in mics on their laptops or the cheap stock Apple earbuds /w mic; the issue with those is they don't do any active noise cancelling. I have a high level of respect for Sennheiser products so I decided to buy it anyways. Similar products from Jabra and Plantronics are marketed better. I've used this for a few months and I've been pretty happy so far. I've asked my colleagues if they can hear background noise when I'm on calls and they say no, which is awesome. I've been in some pretty loud environments so it's great that the active noise cancelling actually works.

Comfortable and sound great.
My employer has us using single sided Plantronics headsets in the office. I needed something better while working at home and got these. They're fantastic. Sound great. Comfortable. When we finally go back to the office I'll be taking these with me.

ZERO noise cancellation
After spending hours reading reviews of various headsets, I decided to get these for the noise canceling factor. I am so disappointed in the fact that THESE HAVE ZERO NOISE CANCELLATION. I have been on calls with clients in my home office with my door closed. My desk is on the other side of the room from the door. I have young children and although they do very well with staying quiet while mom is on a call, they sometimes slip. Today, my youngest was calling for me outside of my closed office door. The client on my call could hear him calling for me from outside the CLOSED DOOR! (She mentioned, "Is someone crying?" UGH) This is not the first time I have had a client tell me they are able to hear someone in the background. And this was coming from OUTSIDE the office door. I can't imagine all that the microphone would pick up if there was someone actually in the room with me. Also, the pieces that go over the ears feel cheap. They do NOTHING to cancel out any noise you may hear around you while on a call. They literally just gently sit on your ears. No coverage around the ears to cancel out any noise. The whole set just feels...cheap. When I first opened the box my first thought was, "Wow, these feel like a $10 headset from Walmart." Positive note: The people that I speak to do say that I sound very clear while using this headset. So I guess that's good. I will be looking for a different set that does a better job of canceling out background noise. I hope to find one whose microphone picks up just what's near it - ie. my voice only!

Light use only - limited adjustments - save your money
Lower quality product than what you would expect from an $85.00 headset. The ear pieces have very limited range of motion making them limited to certain ear shapes (which were not mine unfortunately). The audio quality was fine for calls, but if you play music through them it was terrible - lots of distortion. I started looking into a new headset because my previous Plantronics Blackwire 5xx (loved it) is no longer available, and after 4 years of very heavy use, one of the ears started to go in and out. That headset was originally in the $60 price point, but no Blakc Wire models are available in that range (with stereo ear pieces). If you're going to be wearing this headset for extended periods of the day - keep looking. If you're only going to be taking calls, and will only be wearing for less than 1 hour a day, it'll probably work. However, you can get something cheaper that will still accommodate the light use.

Pinchy on my ears, but sound quality is fine.
Wearing these for 8+ hours starts to cause my ears to hurt a little, and I think they pick up a little too much background noise, but the overall sound quality is good. I still prefer Plantronics for comfort.

Disappointing product from an otherwise solid company
I was pretty disappointed here. Understanding this was not a top end headset, the microphone quality was subpar, and there were issues with the cable that when moved produced audible feedback/static both in the headset and through a call.

Lo que más me preocupaba era la comodidad de los audífonos porque los tengo que utilizar por periodos largos. Están super cómodos!!! claro, sin mencionar la calidad que implica un Sennheiser.

Great product, comfortable and gets the job done. My only criticism is that it's sold as noise cancelling-- not at all, you can hear all outside noises. I only bought it because I thought it would isolate only my voice-- not the case.
