Jointed Shallow Shad Rap 05 Silver Shad

I fished a pond on a Ranch in Texas with winds about 15 mph. I fished from the bank and used this amazing lure. Tried a worm on a Texas rig, a craw, a spinner and a jig. After 2.5 hours of nothing I decided to throw this in the water. In an hour I caught two nice size bass. Couldn't be any happier with this lure the action on the lure is awesome and the color of it fit perfect for the pond. The pond was not stocked it's actually spring fed. I would recommend this lure. One 2.5 pounder and a 5 pounder. Now on the 5 pounder she did shake the hook off on the bank but that might be because I didn't set the hook as good as I thought.

These are well made lures with a great finish and hardware. They run straight and catch fish.

I seem to be using jointed lures more and more these days. I typically fish on the river. This shallow shad rap is probably my most used and successful lure.

It's heavy enough to cast far yet slow to sink. I got more bites when I railed it in and paused in diff patterns making the fish look wounded. Or letting it sink and making sudden easy jerks. Alot of people already know this technique but I know some maybe new to this. If you have shad in your pond or lakes, you need this!
