The product received was good but it took 2 weeks to receive it. From Toronto it should be max 3 days. No wondering why it’s expensive, waiting at the last minute to ship them next day mode.That is expensive not the goods.

I bought these rods to modify the height of a shelving unit made by the same manufacturer (that’s the only way I could ensure the rod diameter would fit - as they seem to not be universal). I was able to *cut them to a shorter length in order add to the shelving unit. This allowed me to maximize the space the unit went into (height-wise), gaining much needed storage. The old adage, if you can’t build out, build up. Worked perfectly! Btw, I should note that I also purchased additional shelves, also made by the same manufacturer. I now have an awesome custom shelving unit that exactly fits the space as well as the items I needed to store on it. *The only thing I wish, is that the manufacturer made/sold different lengths, saving me from having to cut them. The whole thing did end up being a bit costly but I did get what I needed so I’m happy.

Update: The posts arrived in good condition. These are Heavy Duty posts, 600lbs -1000lbs shelving unit compatible. They are the standard outside diameter but due to the thicker material, and thus smaller inside diameter, the pieces will not mate with the thinner walled 300lbs posts. Not an issue with my project but might interfere with yours. And for giggles, here’s my original post that Amazon didn’t like. 'Are you sure you want to ask for my opinion on your products and customer service a day after the delivery, 'just one day away', is now delayed for a week? I'll update when they arrive.' 3 Stars.

I think it is a good product if this is what you need. But it was not standard wire shelf poles, it is actually quite thick and that is not what i was looking for. The seller should have thickness info on item name. And there was only one return option, and you need to pay shipping cost to return, it is unusual on amazon
