Window Mount for Blink Mini, Through Window Use Blink Mini Camera, No Need to Run Wiring Outdoors (White/Pack of 1)

We have a bunch of mini cameras. This mounting system is perfect for windows. Prior to this we had to Jerry rig it with mixed results. Still can’t use infrared because of reflection but camera still works great and there is no way it’s falling off. Came with extra sticky stuff in case you move them.I have 10 minis between 2 properties. I buy them on sale and for me this option works.

It is a very tight fit to ensure that the camera is snug and safe in the holder. You can almost push the lens against the glas. There is a little bit of a distance between the camera and the window though. The glue on tbe sticker is super strong and it was easier to pull the camera itself out of the holder than to peel the holder off the window.My primary use of the holder was to point the camera outside the window. However, with double pane windows, there is still a great amount of glare preventing the camera from seeing at night or in twilight.

I recently purchased Blink Many Cameras for my home that all require a USB connection. Unfortunately not everyplace I want to install these cameras has an outlet so I’m faced with a slight dilemma. I saw these and was thinking about mounting a camera to the living room window and powering it with a portable charger that I can simply remove it when I get home and recharge it. I saw these and had high hopes but after carefully thinking about it, I don’t like mounting these cameras and brackets to a glass window by an adhesive, because if I have to remove it, that’s more work that I really don’t want to do. I also realize that depending on where I place this camera on the window and whether it is open or closed I still have the power wire to contend withand I honestly have no way to hide it so that it will not be noticeable. The closest power outlet is a small distance away from the window so that complicates my problem even more. I’ve thought long and hard about how to hide the wire and each and everything I’ve tried it just want work. While I like these mounting cubes, I just wish there was a way or an option that these cubes had a built in power supply so that you can power the camera without running power wires. Maybe by Solar panel? Anyway, if you are not picky and don’t care about wires being exposed or showing and don’t mind attaching this bracket directly to pane glass window, there great!

Product is garbage and even worse at night. All you can see is the constant glare and reflection

First: this is ONLY the mount. Camera is sold separately. Now, to get to why so many have said this is a fail..... You have to read the instructions (yes I know, who wants to do that these days when you could just wing it, get a negative result, and just post a bad review instead). Anyway, for the Camera part to work properly, you MUST turn the night vision OFF. If not, you will get that reflective glare back. Now, by turning this off, you will then need an outside source of light (a porch light, lamp post light, spot light in your yard). IF you dont have a light source, you wont be able to see anything."But what do I do if I dont have an outside light source for it to work?" you ask. That's simple. 1: Dont buy this product. 2: Get the Blink Outdoor camera instead. This way you can run a camera with the night vision on unobstructed.I have been using 2 of my Mini's in windows for over 2 years now, both day and night, following these instructions and have had NO issues. In fact, it works so well that I have to mute my notifications during storms (lightning will trigger the sensor).**And one more thing..... Keep the outside of your window clean too.

I thought it would be better for the night but I should have scrolled down the reviews more.... definitely sticks well but to not get my night view for the price it's at.... not worth it in my opinion.

This is exactly what I needed to hold my blink camera to my window! It definitely stopped the glare when I had the camera precariously sitting on the window seal and had the lights turned on inside my place!Note: Just remember you also need to go into the camera settings and turn off the LED light that comes on when it detects motion! If you don't you're going to have glare on every recording!

All my first floor windows are now secure with the mini blink cameras. Before I purchased the mounting brackets they would fall off the window ledge everytime someone would pass by our they would fall off the curtains were opened our closed. Now they are on the glass, and are easy to install.

Great product. Worth the long shipping time. Very sticky to window. Comes with spare sticky.
