A lot of fluff
Ive started reading this book but boy is it full of fluff. Ive done 50 pages but besides a whole lot of financial dreams describing ,Tony goes out of his way to name call all the famous people he either knows or doesn't or promote himself or his other products like his app. i would say there is 10% of the matter that is relevant and the rest is just fluff. i aint no quitter so im going to struggle through the remaining of this book besides it helps me go to sleep : ) Edit- I am now on page 189! And my review remains the same. This is a 600 page book by the way. I guess if you don’t know about low cost ETFs and the main points about financial freedoms this might be a good impulsive purchase . But there are a lot of distractions , tangents and useless information. I wish he would edit this book and make it shorter.

This is the second book I read from Tony Robbins, after 'Awaken the Giant Within', that I absolutely loved. As the author states: this book is not just a book, it is a blueprint. No matter where you are financially, it will help you change your life - if you take the advice to your heart and take action. Quote: If what you learn leads to knowledge, you become a fool; but if what you learn leads to action, you can become wealthy. There are many books out there that cover the topic of how to get wealthy. I think what sets this book apart, is Tony Robbins incredible passion to help people combined with his knowledge of the topic. He is described as one of the greatest or THE greatest motivational speaker. His personal power and empathy can be felt thorough the book. A very inspirational and recommendable book.

Broadly covers the pints discussed in classics such as Richest man in Babylon and The Intelligent Investor, but goes beyond to cover todays world (through mostly relevant to US). Overall good read and takeaways

SERIOUS QUESTION: If you had two investments, one that's $50 000 and one that's $1 000 000, which one would you put more energy into? Simple logic says you don't even consider the $50k, and pour all your time into the million. But, after a short poll of friends and colleagues, I learned that we do the exact opposite. Here's an example: About a year ago I bought a new car. I spent months pouring over consumer reviews, test driving, talking with friends, and investigating resale value. Conversely, when I committed to saving for my retirement I did a little "Google" research, then went to my bank, met an adviser, and trusted him to help me pick my investments. I've diligently made contributions from my paycheck ever since. The truth is, I spent about 1/10th of the time investigating my retirement as I did investigating a $50k vehicle I'll drive for 5 years tops... HOW STUPID IS THAT? Apparently not that stupid, it's what most people do. Tony Robbins new book, "Money - Master the Game" is an absolute gem! Even as a Canadian, despite the heavy US focus, this book opened my eyes to an industry designed to TAKE not CREATE wealth. This book certainly isn't the end all of investment strategies - BUT - if you want to retire on-time (or early), if you don't want to worry about running out of money before you die, if you want to maintain your current standard of living when you retire, then this book is for you! If you don't know any of the following, you really need to read this book (you'll be glad you did): 1. 96% of mutual funds DO NOT beat the stock market (and you pay fees on top of that) 2. The advertised average rate of return for mutual funds is NOT what anyone actually got! (up 50%, down 50%, up 50%, down 50% is not 0% - it's a 43.75% loss!) 3. Fees (even as low as 3% total) could bleed you of more than 50% of your future nest egg - OUCH! 4. Your broker/adviser has no legal requirement to do "what's best" for you. They are employed to do what's best for them and their employer. That may sound like a lot of doom and gloom - but this book does an amazing job explaining it all, making it simple, and making it usable. If you're Canadian, you'll need to do some extra research to learn the differences between our country (they're not significant). DON'T LEAVE YOUR FUTURE AND RETIREMENT TO CHANCE. This book is an amazing place to start learning how to invest your future.

An excellent book for those searching for knowledge about financing and a good add for those who live in the financial field as financial administrators, CFOs, financial advisers, brokers, fund managers, I'm a business administrator and that book helped me a lot, it's a book that makes the person think and also gives wisdom. I already have this book on the shelf, I bought one 5 or 4 years ago, but decided to buy a fresh new one of the same just to read again, just to keep the mindset.
