Amazon eero Beacon mesh WiFi range extender (add-on to eero WiFi systems)

I have set this up into very large homes… a 5000+ sf rancher with a two bedroom cottage about a 100' away, and a 6000+ sf sprawling 2 story with a central patio.In both cases we had fast Wi-Fi, but it did not reach many of the rooms in either home, and the cottage and patio were a no go zone.Presto Chango! A quick set up of the eero mesh system was a life changer.I recently moved my sewing room to the other end of the house where my son had been hard wired in, and was having trouble streaming. I purchased another beacon, and in under 60 seconds the streaming issues were resolved.I'm no tech genius... but this was pretty much plug and play. We now have a great signal everywhere on both properties. Woot!

We live in a 3750 sq ft ranch-style home. It's a hike from one end to the other. With a traditional router, we didn't get the best WiFi coverage at the further reaches from the unit. We now have five Beacon units and we can use our streaming services everywhere in the house. We do have occasional momentary freeze-ups, but cannot say whether it's our internet provider, the Beacons, or the streaming services creating them because they aren't very frequent and usually don't last long enough to warrant any deep troubleshooting.But I can say that we had a lot of internet issues over the years with single-point routers (before we did streaming), and those problems have almost entirely gone away since switching to the EERO system.

I have an Eero system going already in my condo. Router in office, second hub in master bedroom. Was having some grainy images on TV more often, even with HD channel services (I’m a streamer, no cords). Thought maybe adding a third hub close to TV could help, so that device could essentially confiscate the additional wifi location and not be in a bandwidth competition with other TVs and devices. BOOM SHAKALAKA! Super definition again on all my channels with or without an HD delivery. OMG why didn’t I think of this before? Plus now Eero has the nifty wireless option - just plugged it straight into the wall-I swear I’m getting my home signal at work now it’s so strong!

Works reasonably well at extending wifi range. The setup was easy and straightforward. However, this is not a durable or robust product -- mine died within a year of purchase. Thankfully the warranty covered a replacement and the support team was able to handle the return process efficiently.

My home was built with concrete walls and internet is difficult to push the WiFi signal through those walls even with additional Eero routers throughout. This was a beautiful addition to my current system without the addition or hassle of added wiring. My outdoor ring cameras can now connect without issue as well. This is a great choice if you currently have an Eero hub (or more) and still need some added coverage without any hassles. Easy to connect and setup with current system. Glad I made this purchase.

I have a big old (late 19th C) house. Modem on the second floor. Previously, reception on the 1st and 3rd floors was pretty bad, and I was resorting to ethernet via the powerlines, which worked OK-ish. When I switched internet providers, I decided to try the mesh network, too. I needed a beacon on both the 1st and 3rd floors, but it's working great. I was amazed as how many gizmos and cables I could pull out and put away after quitting ethernet via powerlines. I started by renting the router and 1st beacon from my ISP, but I just bought my own. This will pay for itself in just over a year.… A year or so later, I’m still happy

I had dead spots in my house for wifi, this product has the entire house covered plus increased the speed.

I purchased this to go along with my main eero router which is setup in my office. I put this router half way across my house on the second floor and boom, perfect coverage to our 4,000+ sq ft home. The eero router is a big upgrade from the traditional ol regular cable company wireless router. Much faster internet, can connect over 100 devices I've read, and perfect coverage house wide once you get this extender.
