Teaching others is a great way to improve your memory,
Browsing the Web one day I stumbled upon this title and was intrigued by the cover. After downloading this on my kindle and reading it I was amazed by the great writing style the author had and the insights he had on the topic of memory and brain power. He brings up a great point that memory is vitally important for survival and quality of life. In this reading their are ten ways to improve your long term memory one of which being through eating a healthy and proper dieting which I have found great success in. Ever since I have changed my diet and eating more fruits and vegetables I have noticed an increase in productivity and alertness on top of a greater retention rate from meetings and reading documents.When it comes to study I always struggle with memorizing thing but this book has enabled me to remember long lists of things to do, number sequences, and outlines. In the future I plan to use the memory systems for task, phone numbers, complex formulas and equations, and remembering my plans everyday. Also and finally solve the mystery question of why I came to this room in first place. It takes some work to get through this book, but once you determine the system works like magic, This book tough me great skills also benefited me, and I plan on utilizing the techniques in my life. Overall, I highly recommend this book! It is fun and useful!There are seven chapters in this book, covering all kinds of topics related to memory. There are almost 400 pages, but I skimmed over the parts that did not interest me as much, and then spent more time reading the chapters that intrigued me the most. I did learn a few things along the way.Many of the things I have heard before, like eating certain foods, etc. So for me, this book rehashed a lot of popular ideas about memory improvement. I guess it is okay to have a book that covers a lot of ground. The book does explain how memory and the brain work, which is kind of interesting.One of the very important part in this book is where author mentions that in today world, technology has taken over us, we dont use our brains to remember phone nos, spellings etc we have gadgets to do that and hence its right that - if u dont use it u will lose it, its very true. Also , reading improves memory but no one is in to actual book reading all happens on phone not natural way. Age doesnt take the memory away , memory sharpens with the age if you feed your brain right stuff , and that is - Reading, doing puzzles and have a good nutrition.A concise, yet full text of mental, physical and supplemental knowledge to help one boost brain function. From exercise to nutritionalinformation the book gives a basic yet full regime to improve your brain's performance and therefore make your life more satisfying and productive. Great book for caregivers as well as people struggling to stay sharp. The knowledge contained in this book can help you to achieve a full more satisfying life. I know that dealing with a lot of people all day it is hard to remember some of the things that I have done for the day. There are a lot of different types of memory. Short term, long term, sensory, explicit, implicit, semantic and episodic are the types explained in this book. Things that impact your life such as car accidents will stick in your memory for a long time. I can remember all of my vehicle accidents with great detail. Sensory memory helps you remember smells, sounds, and things you see. Everything that we do is based on memory. Coming home from work to birthdays are just a few and forgetting them would cause a great deal of stress. Practice helps build memory, such as sports or your daily job. Dementia and Alzheimer's are two that I deal with on a working basis. If you don't use it you will lose it one of my favorite sayings so using your memory is better than loosing it. This book gives great ideas about how to increase your memory. I have learned several ways to increase my memory and will continue to accomplish the goals of maintaining and sharpening my memory. Learning new grammar and vocabulary has been my goal this past year, since I have been going back to school. I have certainly noticed a difference in my memory looking back a few years when I was eating junk and not educating myself. Teaching others is a great way to improve your memory, I have learned that when I teach I understand more and I can explain it more thoroughly. Games are a fun way to improve your memory. Repetition will help train your brain to remember where things are and how to recreate it over and over again. Proper breathing will increase your oxygen to your brain and decrease the carbon dioxide levels. Overall stimulation as well as a mixed volume of data will help the brain remember more clearly. I figure it never hurts to work on improving your memory, so when I see this Ebook I decided to give it a try. The ebook is a free download so I figured there was nothing to lose. I think everyone could find one or two things from this book to use and help improve the memory. For the price, you might as well give it a shot.There are seven chapters in this book, covering all kinds of topics related to memory. There are almost 400 pages, but I skimmed over the parts that did not interest me as much, and then spent more time reading the chapters that intrigued me the most. There are a lot of different options listed, which is good sine every person will learn differently. You can pick the ones you want to try and see how they work for you.

One example of why memory is important and why you need to keep it active is because it helps us avoid things that cause us pain. The book also mentions eating foods high in DHEA to boost memory. A recognized organization feels that this is just one more lifestyle change you can make to enhance your memory. A way to boost long term memory is to learn a new language. Learning language gets harder as we get older, but it is not impossible. It then moves into describing ways that can help you remember specific information. Most of the techniques deal with making associations. It also stresses the need for the repetition of these exercises in order to find benefit from them. Useful - easy to read memory improvement technique book
Got a very useful book as a free download in exchange of unbiased review. Heres my honest opinion.At every stage , brain need a stimulation and thats why I got this book from Author Jason Scotts. This is good for any age group if the principles are implemented currently. As a person who always forgets things, this book helps you remember things that you have forgotten about. It also gives you an insight into brain development.
