This pocket SSD drive is compact .. I'm sure it will do what it says it will do .. i have an older laptop and bought this only for back-up purpose .. i experienced lower / mid 2 digit speeds coz usb 3.0 wil not be compatible with older devices/ computers, so had to use an ordinary c type cable meant for charging phone to connect to the laptop and it did well... No heating issues .. plastic body could have been more sturdy ..since the device is very light it may not cause body damage when dropped, the build quality should have been better considering it holds data that could be pricless in terms of users sentement and personal value ..Works with Mobile phone. i have a tried to connect it with Oppo K10 5g , it connects and reads the ssd instantly.. have not yet checked tranfer Speed, but I'm sure it won't disappoint.I just received the product and have been to work with it. iwill Surely update the experience post a few weeks / months usage , to highlight any other pros / cons about the device..At the moment if feel it's an affordable ssd and can be purchased without 2nd thoughts..Purchased at discounted price of 4,499/- on sale

You have mentioned 1TB but it's capacity is 931 GB ,i am not satisfied by it

Ich schreibe hier zur Seagate Expansion 2 TB externe SSD, die ich an einem Mac betreibe. Funktioniert einwandfrei, sowohl am M1-Mac, als auch an einem Intel-Mac. Soweit keine Probleme, Kabel für USB 3 und USB-C sind mit dabei. Im Lieferzustand ist die SSD mit exFAT formatiert, für den reinen Mac-Nutzer kann man mit dem Festplattendienstprogramm das Format zu APFS wechseln. Wer Daten zwischen Mac und PC mit der SSD kopieren möchte sollte jedoch bei exFAT bleiben.Die Geschwindigkeit, die hier mit 1000MB/sek. angegeben wird, ist aber wohl eher ein Scherz. Die Platte wird mit 5Gbit (USB 3.0) angebunden, da wären theoretisch sowieso kaum mehr als 600 MB/Sek. möglich. In der Praxis bleiben davon dann ca. 400-420 MByte/Sek. übrig, getestet mit Blackmagic Disk Speed Test an verschiedenen Mac-Rechnern, Intel und Apple Silicon.Ich habe die 2TB-SSD am Prime-Day gekauft (194 Euro) und somit ist der Preis okay. Auch nicht teurer als eine Crucial MX500 in einem externen Gehäuse. Aber kleiner und leichter. Aber eben auch nicht schneller oder langsamer als eine Crucial mit SATA3-Anschluss. Für den normalen Preis von 272€ oder wie bei Seagate auf der Homepage angegeben über 400€ wäre sie aber wahrlich überteuert.Eigentlich hätte es auch 5 Sterne geben können, weil ja alles okay, aber für die freche Angabe von 1000MB/sek. gibt's einen Stern Abzug wegen Lügerei.

Al ir a usarlo en mac dio algún error, se formatea y listo. Funciona bien. Mi valoración viene más por la descripción. Cualquier disco duro vale para mac si se formatea, pero este se presupone que ya viene listo y no. Por otro lado el precio de los ssd sigue siendo algo elevado en comparación con los normales.

Der in die Jahre gekommene iMac startet nun nicht nur sehr viel schneller, sondern hat durch die schnelle SSD auch einen ordentlichen Schub beim Arbeitstempo bekommen. Die Platte verfügt über je ein USB-3 und USB-C Kabel und ist somit vielfältig einsetzbar. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Fácil de transportar, se siente mucho mas pequeño una vez lo tienes, puedo mantenerlo conectado y al transferir archivos se mantiene bajo en temperatura, también trae sus cables USB-C y USB-3.0 y viene formateado en exFAT para usarlo en Windows y MAC.Es la primera vez que compro un ssd y las velocidades son bastante altas solo noté que si transfieres archivos de un disco duro a un ssd la velocidad se limita al del hdd.También algo que trae es que al registrar el producto en su página te da un mes para Adobe creative cloud.

Wird gut erkannt bei win 10 oder ein 11Hat für eine SSD guten Stau Raum für Fotos und Video gut.Für Games lieber etwas mehr oder schnellers ! 😄👍
