Does the job
I bought a big name smart watch a little over a year ago and it died recently. They basically told me too bad buy another one. It was disappointing. I bought a smaller off brand smart watch but the app was eating up my phone battery. The thing about smart watches is that they count steps you didn't take if your arm moves a lot. I work in an office and type a lot. This pedometer is perfect becaus I clip it to my pants and it only counts the steps I take. It's easy to use and doesn't require a lot of fuss. It seems sturdy. The numbers are big and bright . It's worth the money.

Convenient
I wear this on a lanyard and it's convenient for checking my step count. It motivates to walk more. I think it's reasonably accurate, but that 10-step delay probably cheats me out of some steps inside my house.
