If you're thinking, "Need a pole lamp that works with my other WiZ stuff" and that's all that matters, there's plenty to like about this lamp. It is indeed a pole lamp, and it does indeed work with other WiZ stuff, and has access to basically the same color temperatures, RGB colors, and Dynamic color modes as other WiZ lights. As far as that goes, it does what it's suppose to do well enough.But I do have a few issues with it.It's really pretty expensive for what it is. It's basically two, slightly longer versions of the WiZ Bar Lights in a single physical package. Those lights can be had for just over half the price of this lamp. If your need is just for some kind of indirect or wash lighting and an LED light strip doesn't quite work for your application, you might consider those instead. As it is, though, the normal price for this should be somewhere South of $100.The product images provide a not-quite accurate impression of what this product is. They imply that this lamp is about 59 inches tall and that the light spans that entire range. The reality is, the "light" pole is only about 40 inches, and only slightly taller when inserted directly into the lamp base (this is the configuration the images show for the fully-lighted lamp). What brings it up to the implied 59 inches tall, is an un-lighted extension that can be fit between the base and the lighted bar. In that configuration, this lamp will leave a dimmer area near the base, and will not light the entire area that it's pointed at.There are, however, two possible upsides to the light bar itself being only 40 inches long. The first is that if you're placing this on the floor to provide a wash light up a wall, it's probaly a little easier to find a place it will fit in. The second is that should you use this behind a TV as a bias light, it will easily fit behind the width of a decent sized TV (55-inch diagonal or larger) without exposing the bar itself. You'd have to figure out how to mount it behind a TV, though, as there is no hardware included for that purpose. And honestly, the WiZ light bars or LED light strips would be easier and much cheaper.The overall brightness is quite a bit less than I was expecting. This is probably due to me using the 1600-lumen WiZ A21 White / Color bulbs in the rest of the room. A few of those can easily fill a large room with more than enough light, and this lamp really can't compete with that.Like any wash-type light designed to be facing a wall, there is some effect of the color of the wall itself. If you have bright / White and semi-gloss or glossy painted walls, it will probably appear brighter than it will with Beige or darker walls with a matte finish. This would be true with any brand of pole lamp, so it's just something to keep in mind.My plan had been to buy one of these to make sure I liked it, before buying at least one more. Based on my experience I'd be hard-pressed to get another one unless a) a room redesign requires another long wash light where an LED light strip would not work, and b) the price comes down to something more reasonable.

Bright and brilliant colors. Easily integrated with my other Philips WiZ products. Filled the dark corners of the room well. Better than I expected.

On the box in the photo it says that the lamp has a "easy tap control", but the lamp I received does not have a tap control.

I love to customize my house with cool RGB lights. I had seen a few 'corner light' style lightbars before, but this WiZ floor lamp offered a customizable light with great connectivity at a great price. While assembling the product, I did find a bit of difficulty with threading the power cable through the base piece and into the actual lamp. There is an extension cable included in the package that will make this easier, so save yourself a little trouble and use it.The app is very easy to use and has zero delay when connecting to my lamp. It offers a wide range of preset color options and a simple 'night' mode that turns it into a perfectly dimmed night light. While going through the color options, I didn't exactly find one that fit my idea perfectly, and as far as I can tell there isn't a way to fully customize the LEDs to your exact preference. While a timeline-based LED customizer would be very cool, it has enough options to be a very unique lamp that suits practically any mood.I would highly recommend this lamp as an option for people who love RGB or even those who just want a nice dimmable lamp to add ambiance to a room. You could easily use this lamp without the RGB components and bring a calm or exciting light to anywhere you could want it.

Update:Lowering to 4 stars because the automation inside the app is lacking. For example, the schedule feature only has a time selection and there is no option to choose sunrise or sunset. In the summer and winter the time it gets dark is very different so this is a big feature gap. Another example, the circadian rhythm feature keeps the light on (dim orange glow) all night long and there is no option to set it to completely turn off the light at bedtime. So I can't use this feature for kids sleeping after all, it's better for their health to keep the room completely dark when they are in bed. My favorite setting is the fall color setting which has a very nice mix of orange/yellow glow.Original review:This WiZ floor lamp is just what I’ve been looking for. There is one particular feature that all makes it worthwhile - the Circadian Rhythm automation setting. This automation gradually shifts the light from cool white to warm candlelight color nearing bedtime. Scientific studies have proven that less blue light at night helps to better align with a normal sleep cycle. You can set the wake and sleep times. It is very nice how gradually the light shifts, not just two colors like some other products.When I first downloaded the app I was puzzled why it wouldn’t connect for setup. Then I got a notification in the app that there is a new version of the app. So be sure to download WiZ v2 on the Apple App Store and not the original version, even though the original version comes up first in the app search results when you search for WiZ.Highly recommended for a kids room!

So far, so good. Since I already have Wiz bulbs and my Wiz remote, it was pretty easy to get it paired with my light setup (via: Wiz app).It’s bright but not blinding, it basically behaves/operates just like the standard Wiz smart bulbs so it’s pretty straightforward in terms of setting it up and using it’s functionalities.In terms of longevity, it’s to early to know. But my experience with Wiz overall has been reasonably good.More updates coming soon.

Marked as a 5' light, it's only 3' with a little extension that just raised the light not actually illuminates. Colors are way off from other wiz bulbs I have and it's very noticeable. I tried to stick with the same brand but that won't last.I'd look at other brands.

Starting buying Wiz series LED lights as I wanted to get some Wifi enabled indoor lighting that I could control with either an App or a physical Remote.Light is easy to set up and App allows you to set or cycle through lighting options.Decent price point and came as expected.
