Good spot treatment
Quick PSA: I don’t get paid for reviews, but I do like writing them so I can determine if the product actually achieves its claims. Warning: pics of my breakout aka: why I am trying this product. My background: I get monthly hormonal acne breakouts, so I am well versed in trying different spot treatments. Why I decided to try this one: it’s combination of sulfur and alcohol, both great agents for thinning the top layer of skin and drying out pimples and blackheads. I know that because my breakouts are hormonal this product won’t be a cure, but I wanted to know if it could do anything for the inflammation or the redness. Instructions: dip a cotton swab into the pink sediment and apply to blemishes without rubbing. Don’t shake bottle. This I found a little difficult because the sediment is heavier and sinks to the bottom, I used a q-tip for application. Attached are the photos I took to see how the product would impact my breakout. As you can see the product did reduce inflammation and redness and caused some of the smaller pimples to diminish. Again, as someone with cystic breakouts I don’t expect and overnight cure, but I am pleased with the results. I think using the product a few days in a row would almost completely get rid of the larger pimples. Pros: good ingredients for drying oily skin and clearing breakouts, great packaging and decent amount of product (you don’t need to use a lot for each spot), saw visible results in one night, proved claims for reducing redness and inflammation. Cons: Sulfur smells like sulfur (that’s just life), a little difficult to get the sediment at the bottom unless you use a qtip. Overall, a good product for someone with black heads or Whiteheads, will dry them out over night. For someone like me with more severe/hormonal acne it’s a great start and flattens the breakout so it’s less noticeable the next day. Hope this helps, remember reviews are helpful for other shoppers so please leave honest reviews :)

slow and sure
Not a fast fix - give it time. It does work, and it's non-sticky, clear, and clean.

The bottles are confusing and reviews for the different products are all mixed together.
I actually thought I was buying a peel, so I was a little miffed when it didn't peel. But I used it as a cream, and I wasn't expecting much...but after a couple of months my skin just looked brighter and less pigmented. I got off of it for a while so I could finish some other products and it looks like I should've kept going with this bc some of the spots got a little darker again. Not a whole lot...but noticeable to me. Upon a deep dive into the ingredients, this is a power house of all kinds of pigment inhibitors, exfoliators, cell renewing retinol & peptides and a plethora of antioxidants. This could be used as a stand alone routine with sunscreen unless you have really dry skin. Mine is combination and I experienced no irritation or dryness, but I am a seasoned user of AHAs and tretinoin. I would definitely repurchase again. You just need patience. It's an underrated product. Having said that, the company really needs someone to overhaul their bottle graphics and labelling... Here's a breakdown of the ingredients and what they target: It targets melanin synthesis, transfer, inflammation, and cell turnover — the four key angles of hyperpigmentation. Here's what the actives are packing: 1. Tyrosinase inhibitors (slow melanin production): Alpha-Arbutin Kojic Acid 4-Butylresorcinol ⭐️Hexylresorcinol (Synovea HR)⭐️ super star Niacinamide Glutathione Vitamin C 2. Melanin transfer blockers: Niacinamide Tranexamic Acid Decapeptide-12 3. Anti-inflammatory + antioxidants (prevent rebound pigment): Green Tea Panthenol Vitamin E Ascorbic Acid Cucumber Extract 4. Gentle exfoliation (increases skin turnover): Azelaic Acid Glycolic, Lactic, Malic, Tartaric Acids Salicylic Acid Retinol

Works better with smaller dark spots
Didnt work as well as it should. It did clear the lighter dark spots. The darker spots were tough to remove. They did peel but no other noticeable difference.

I like it
Works well. I felt the burn in a few minutes. Will take repeated treatments for best effect. But definitely more advanced than a scrub product.
