Awesome
I’ve used a few different pickling compounds over time, and this one honestly just makes everything easier. If you’re doing any kind of soldering or metalwork, this stuff is pretty much a must-have. First thing I noticed is how quickly it works. Mix it with warm water and it’s ready to go — no complicated setup. Drop your piece in after soldering and it starts cleaning almost immediately. It strips off oxidation and flux residue without you having to scrub the life out of your work, which is a huge time saver. The results are super clean too. Metals come out looking bright and even, not blotchy or stained like I’ve seen with some cheaper alternatives. Especially noticeable on silver and copper — it just brings them right back without any weird discoloration. Another big plus is how long it lasts. You don’t need much per batch, and the solution holds up through multiple uses before it needs replacing. For the price, you get a ton of value out of it compared to constantly going through weaker compounds. I also like that it’s pretty straightforward to work with. As long as you follow basic safety (gloves, proper container, etc.), it’s not a headache to deal with. No overpowering fumes or anything crazy — just does its job. One thing I’d recommend is using dedicated tools (like copper tongs) with it, since using the wrong metal can contaminate the solution — but that’s standard for any pickle, not a knock on this product. Overall, if you’re doing jewelry, soldering, or any kind of metal cleanup, this is one of those products that just works without any drama. Reliable, effective, and worth having on hand. I’ll definitely keep using this instead of bouncing around between different brands.

Surprisingly good
I put this in a wax warmer as I didn't have anything else around and only needed a tiny amount. It worked great for my soldering. I then used it to clean an antique silver compact that had black spots on it. I figured it couldn't hurt. To my surprise the black spots rubbed right off. Well, they are light brown now at least so I think I just need to leave it in longer, according to the experts. Don't get it on you because it hurts! Some got on my finger - ow. Lastly, like many have said, the bag was split and contents spilled into the box. I hope they start putting it in an extra bag.

A great product but even better seller!
Sparex always makes a good product (much better than Procraft) but the customer service was excellent with this seller. I had a problem that wasn’t their fault and they fixed it immediately.

Great product but, the packaging was an issue
Great product but, the packaging was an issue. The crystals were leaking out of the main bag which house the product. The box the item cam is was fine but the actual material packaging was cheeped out and not the best. Makee sure to have this shipped as an single item and it should be okay. Other tools in the package rested because they came in contact with the crystals.

Works great, no problem
I was confused when I first came across this. It said it was used????? I decided to give it a try and there's no way I could tell if this is used or new. It works just as good as any I've used and I always use this brand. I got a two and a half bag for the price similar to the 10oz bags I usually buy. Hope this helps.

It really worked
My wife had bought a very, very tarnished copper plaque 24" in diameter. I built a 25'' square 2'' deep wood basin, lined it with some 6mil poly, set the plaque in it and covered it with a gal. of the acid mix. After about 4 hours I used a small brass brush in the crevises and it came out looking great. A happy wife makes for a happy life
