I have received this candle to review on behalf of Amazon. It arrived promptly and well packaged.When ordering this and seeing the price, I was expecting something very luxurious.I buy a lot of scented candles, as both my wife and daughter love them. So I know a good candle and what to expect.It arrives in a really nice gift box and upon opening, I found a nice fragrant candle looking the part.Using all 3 wicks and setting this alight, I found that I was very disappointed with the scent. For me it actually smelled stronger unlit.Further after a few days of using, the glass cracked. Luckily I was on the ball and noticed before any mishaps could occur.Overall for a candle at this price, I was very underwhelmed.

This candle has caused some debate, my wife does like the fragrance, finding it a light, subtle one. I don’t think it works that well and it is not to my taste. I think it is a love or hate scent, so be warned. The soy wax, however, is a good melt and the three wicks useful, allowing for a smooth burn. However, despite soy wax burning longer than standard wax it is pricey.

My wife loves scented candles so getting this was quite exciting. It comes in a very well presented box that feels premium and gift-worthy. Inside, the candle is wrapped in plastic. The size of the candle isn't what I was expecting, it is bigger than I thought! The candle glass is thick, strong and sturdy.The candle is made from natural materials, has three wicks and burns slowly. It has an interesting smell that feels very warm and uplifting. It isn't intense and lingers around for a little while. I am not a fan of heady and intense smells as it gives me a headache, pleased to find out this one isn't one of those and we enjoy the mild fragrance. All three wicks burn evenly without any smoke or harmful smells.Based on how much we have used, I anticipate it should last about 25 hours when using all three wicks. I am quite satisfied with that, even though it is steeply-priced. The overall feel of the candle is luxurious and sophisticated so the price may be is justified. I would see this as an occasional indulgence.

I received this item from the Amazon Vine Program.The candle arrived well packed & presented in a gift box making it a great gift idea to those who loves scented candles!It is made from soy wax and weighs 370 g. Soy wax has a lower melting point so it burns up to 50% longer than paraffin wax candles. It is also non-toxic and releases no known carcinogens when it is burnt.I love that it has 3 lead free cotton wicks. One of the important things I learned about candles is the initial burn to allow the candle to melt from edge to edge. Since, this candle has 3 wicks then there is no/ less chance of candle tunnelling.The fragrance is tropical - smells citrusy and fresh which I like.It costs £28 at the time of this review. The candle looks nice and smells good too, but the price is not very affordable for me. At this price point it won’t be very competitive as there are cheaper alternatives that also smell good.

I have to say I have never of this brand before but have seen they make luxury scented candlesThe packaging looks very luxurious and has quite a weight to it and comes in a nice sturdy box with the glass candle inside and would make a lovely gift for those who love candles and fruity scents.The candle has 3 wicks (not seen many candles that have this) so you get a good choice on how many to light. You get a low melting point for this so it will last longer than most standard candles.You get a lovely fruity scent of passion fruit but it is not overpowering or sickly.I do think the price of the candle is okay compared to the weight with other brands.Overall it’s a good product and you do not get the horrible smoke you get with other candles.

Never heard of house of otium before but I do like a scented candle so got this, I like how there's 3 wicks, they help it burn very evenly which is nice.The scent isn't really anything special to me, it kind of just smelt like a generic scented candle, if I had no idea what it was, I would never have guessed it was passion fruit.I'd save your money and get something else to be honest, it is a very nice candle though.

Easily cleaned from glass, tin, fabric and other materials.Fragrances release quickly and are long lasting.The candle sits in a heavy glass jar, and there are 3 wicks to burn.The scent is balanced just right, it’s strong but not overpowering.It definitely feels and look like a luxury candleWould also make a lovely gift.The only downside is it’s a lot of money. My partner would go max if I started a collection of these lovely candles!

The Otium company seems to specialise in scented candles and wax melts which release their aroma around the room or house. The large round candle is certainly well packaged in an attractive box but can its 'vibrant citrus notes work to revitalise the soul and deeply invigorate the sense' as the company says on this Amazon page?My wife and I thought it was a quite pleasant aroma and the three wicks probably release more of the passion fruit aroma quite quickly, or to make the candle really last just light one wick in rotation. We let it burn for just over an hour and it hardly seemed to have melted much wax so I think it'll last some considerable time.The glass container looks quite substantial, so when the candle has finally gone it's the sort of thing that could hold small decorative pebbles and one of those everlasting plants. Like over reviewers I think the product is quite expensive.
