No drivers to install - plug and play
I bought this because I was buying a new laptop without an ethernet port. Actually got the laptop the day before I got this. At first the laptop on wifi was okay but by the time it started loading all my stuff from Google Drive it really slowed down so much so that I couldn't download the software I had to install. Got this the next day, and there was absolutely nothing to read as to how to install - the User Instruction leaflet is not an instruction leaflet. The other leaflet says what it is and specs. I plugged it in and at first it still showed wifi, then after it showed a wired connection. Nothing to do at all - so nice. I've been using computers for years and it's so nice not to have to install drivers etc.One thing to note though, the leaflet recommends disconnecting when not in use and to do that you use remove device. Haven't done anything else with it yet other than connect the ethernet cable. Will update.

Second ethernet connection useful, plus USB hub.
Works great as a USB hub and gives an expansion ethernet connection.

The USB c port is only for a power pack
This was a confusing item because I am not a computer tech. I thought the USB c port was for charging a phone. It called it a power plug so I misunderstood that term. NO. It is only a port to plug in a power pack or wall charger when you have another device such as an external hard drive or such that needs more power to run. The only up side is you can use a wall phone charger as the power source should you need it. I had to email company to understand all this. Since I probably won't need this, I won't use it , but I will use the 3 USB A ports. Had I known this beforehand, I would have ordered a cheaper USB A ports one.

Works well not a dud, good especially for the Ethernet connector
I purchased this for traveling away from my home and with my laptop, It works pretty well and has a good link to Ethernet. You would be surprised how many hotels and even motels in the USA and Europe have ethernet connections in most rooms. I was giving classes online, participating in zoom based meetings, pa and music jams online while traveling in Europe and in the Appalachians. Plugging this into Ethernet where you can really boosts not only your Internet operations and Zoom.Thanks
