Children controlled by spanking!
This author advocates spanking, at one point he even asked his daughter to spank him. The book feels like he had complete control over his children and even had them draw up contracts to establish their own punishment. Definitely not for the balanced reader. One purchase i shall regret!

I read this book many years ago (35) when my children were young. Now I give it to new parents along with a giftcard for diapers.Even if your not a Christian Gary Smalley passes on worthwhile knowledge on child rearing that is tried and true. You won't be sorry you read it.
