Dualit01362 Timer - Black

This is a perfect replacement part for our Dualit 3 slice toaster, model 2+1 Combi US. As others have noted, this is an Mi 7 timer (stamped on the body of the timer). There are Dualit toasters with Mi 2 timers, so check before ordering. This should have been in the description. The old (original) timer lasted for almost 20 years, and we hope the new one will have a long life.When installing just line up the fittings (old vs new) and swap out/in one by one; easy-peasy. Lots of Youtube videos if you're not sure. No need to use the new connectors that came with the timer.

My Dualit is back! After roughly 15 years of faithful service, our Dualit began experiencing a problem: it continued to toast with timer stuck, usually just before "off." The swap was easy. I believe that I snapped a photo of the connections prior to removing them to reference (in case I forgot or got distracted). It works perfectly, again. I'll probably need another in, oh, about 15 years.

Perfect! Real easy to install (access from the bottom of the toaster), comes with instructions (or you can lookup & see a YouTube video) and best of all, this 20-year old Dualit is back to work toasting to perfection. BTW, same manufacturer as the original... Seemed pricey at first... No regrets now

6 weeks installed and timer part broke.

The description might have warned that this timer is Mi7 for newer (less than 20 years) models.The older Mi2 has different shape and wiring arrangement.It may be possible to adapt this for my toaster, but prefer to order the correct part (which I could not locate on Amazon) from UK

It works! My very expensive toaster had started having some problems. The timer would get stuck which is a real problem unless you want to burn your house down. I ordered this new timer and installed it myself. I'm pretty handy so it wasn't a problem. Did the switch out in about 10 minutes and now my toaster works perfectly. It's so nice to set the timer and actually have it turn off after two or three minutes. Looking forward to several more years of perfect toast.

Perfect fit, super easy to install (at least in our model toaster) and fixed our problem.If only it wasn't so expensive, but still, it is much cheaper than buying a new Dualit toaster, right!

Perfect. Arrived quickly. Easy to install in spite of no directions included. Works like new.

Dualit Toasters are hand built and have barely changed in design over 60 yrs. They are fully and easily repairable without any special tools. In particular the electrical terminal connections used spade & clip connectors so no need for soldering.

Leider lag dem Ersatzteil keine Anleitung bei. Man findet diese aber leicht (auf englisch) im Internet. Der Einbau hat mühelos funktionert und der Dualit-Toaster schnurrt wieder wie ein Kätzchen.

Keeps the toaster going and takes about 10 mins to fit...Basically extends the life of what is otherwise a much used toaster..Wish everything was so fixable
