An Elephant & Piggie Biggie! Volume 5 (An Elephant and Piggie Book) Hardcover – October 18, 2022

I love the Elephant and Piggie books! I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had volumes like this, saving tons of money on the books!I got all 5 volumes in preparation for my baby being born and I look forward to her enjoying the books as much as I have.My wild bunch of nieces and nephews came over to meet my newborn and were far more interested in sitting and reading these books together. So it seems they're a crowd pleaser!

I purchased books 1-3 when my children were 2&3 y/o. We read and re-read them. But when my children started to go to pre-kindergarten and transitional kindergarten, that is when these books were very helpful.My children are starting to recognize words, trying to sound out words, etc. All 5 books are written to recognize words and help to imprint the words. The author uses the same words over and over to help my kids in recognizing them and really know the words.All 5 books have very little words crowding each page. Each story is straight forward, building up to the climax and to the end of the story as if it is step by step. As in, if this happens then, immediately, next thing is this. Similar to recipe instructions.My kids and I read 1 or 2 stories every night. More importantly we either laugh or “aww” after we finish the story. Best investment for us.

My twin girls are in 1st grade and love elephant and piggie books! This was great to add to their collection since there is 5 stories in one. They are easy to read and always make them laugh. Highly recommend this collection!

My daughter read these books in school and absolutely loves them. We will be buying the rest of the series. Book is very durable.

Elephant and Piggie have grown up with all 3?of my daughters (21, 15 & 9) and they LOVE these characters! Now my oldest kids are helping the youngest read, who has dyslexia, and the laughter and giggles are plentiful!These books encourage reading and make reading fun and not a chore to her. These are definitely one to keep in any family library!
