Rings would not fit into groove
I have built many engines and have never had to write a bad review until now. I purchased this piston for a Polaris 400L engine, the price was reasonable. Whenever I went to install the rings onto the piston they fit into the grooves very tight and would not seat at all, when installed there was about a 3/8" ring end gap. After about 2 hours of emery clothing the grooves I was finally able to get the rings to fit into the groove. If this is typical I would spend the extra money and buy something else.

The price point makes it worth it
Piston kit prices are all over the spectrum. I found this one to be ideal for replacing the existing piston

Do not buy the rings do not fit the piston.
