Builds beautifully on early reading skills
I really like this Learn-to-Read book. I did it with my four kids who are homeschooling. My two who aren't reading did well in it and I think it was a good start on reading skills. It was right at the level of my kid who is learning to read. And I made my reader do it too. She was a little bored with it, but I felt like it was good review and writing practice. I like most that this workbook methodically builds on skills and includes lots of tracing practice. It begins with leter sounds, moves on to blends and digraphs and then a few sight words. I get frustrated because many school workbooks jump all over the place to different skill levels. If there is any reason that this book should not get 5 stars it would be that some of the content is not as basic as I would like. Some very common blends and sight words were missed (st and er come to mind). Other than that I'm very pleased and will probably buy the book in the future when my other kids are reaching reading age.

Perfect for pre kindergarten student highly recommend this workbook. My child is now beginning to read. :)

Great work book!
This is a great work book! My daughter first started using this at 3 and she learned so much! It really helped her learn how to write and now that she’s 4 it’s helping her learn how to read! I highly recommend!

Keeps the kids busy and they are also learning
My grandkids love them 2, 3, and 5 year old. They lost the cover to the pens but they still use it. I like that the ink erases on its own. They have the bad habit of writing on the walls. It keeps them busy and they are learning their alphabets and numbers. They even have a little dolphin that attached to the pen to show them how to hold it. ❤️❤️
