A great buy for the price
I just purchased the PTZ analog (405-22X) not knowing if it would work with my setup.I had to replace a PTZ camera 10 to 12 years old with a bad servo motor. My 16 ch.Zmodo DVR 12 to 15 years old has, rs485 D1 H.264 9600 baud, so I thought I'd giveit a try. I hooked it up to my DVR with a 100 foot spare cable that I had in theroom with all the connections on it. It said in the directions not to do it this way. They want you to hook it up directly. I figured if it would work this way I couldgo out on my roof and just hook it up to my over the air TV antenna, which I did.It worked beyond my expectations left/right/up/down/focus and zoom. WOW !!OK, that night I waited for darkness to see if the infrared leds would work well.Once they came on and I had a black and white picture,I tried to move it left/right.It would not move and I had a bunch of interference lines. I was using the 12V 2Amppower supply that came with it. So I tried a 12v 3Amp and a 12v 5Amp power supplyand it still did the same thing with wavy lines. The voltage drop was the cause. The next day I went into my garage attic and ran an extension cord up close to wherethe wires go out the side vent but keeping the 110 volt extension inside the garage.I bought a 12 volt extension cord 10 feet long to connect to the 12V 2Amp power supplysupplied which has about 4 or 5 feet of wire on it. This gave me about 14 or 15 feetof 12V wire going to the camera instead of 100 feet. That night I tried it again andeverything now works great. There must be a huge voltage drop in a 100 foot run.The manual says to keep the power supply close to the camera. Now I know why.One side note is that this camera does 36x not 22x zoom. A nice surprise for me.I'm rating it 5 stars even though I had to run an extension cord. I added 3 pictures.

Best buy
After several years of flawless service we decided to buy a THIRD unit!We display the video live on the big living room display when not watching TV. Views of the mountains, views of the property, critters at night, and also safety surveillance. The Pan Tilt and Zoom is easy, even through the home built switching interface.A great source of entertainment when we can't get around as easily.Standard NTSC video, 12 volt power, and RS-485 control is easily adapted to the newer HDMI systems and affords simple and cheap connectivity and maintenance. The optics and control are top-notch.

Sunba has poor software in camera settings
This camera displays zoom and preset info on the display. Contacted Sunba tech support. They know that this display info can not be turned off. Maybe in the future it will be added. The camera settings of this camera are very limited!

Does the job!
I have a anolog Lorex system and wanted to try out an analog PTZ camera. This one seemed like a good choice and it was. Arrived on time, well packages and simple instructions. Setup was easy (follow Startup instructions). Keep in mind ptz follows polarity so if it doesn't work, reverse the connections. PTZ controls works well on DVR and Pan and Tilt functions well on phone app. Pinch and Zoom to get closer to objects with blurred/pixels results. Purchased separate PTZ controller should work better when I connect it up... keep you posted. Overall, great purchase, clear picture, pans and tilts as directed and the 360 degree is flawless...

Automatic Preset Movment Unreliable
The feature to have the camera pan to preset locations automatically doesn't work well. After a few hours something happens and the camera starts going to the wrong spots.. like it lost track of its current position and then goes to the next preset location incorrectly. I tried to work with support on this issue but they blamed everything else other than the camera. they blamed cable length or gauge of wire causing not enough voltage for the camera. I used very premium wire and shortened it and it still has the issues, I even turned off infrared to lower the power the camera uses. Still didn't fix the issue.Moving the camera to random locations works fine but after using presets for a while it goes out of whack. Also sometimes camera gets stuck in up position, sometimes I am lucky enough for it to get unstuck itself, but sometimes I have to go up on my roof to manually force it to a position it will move again. When moving the camera manually by hand you can tell if it gets to the up position it will get stuck, something is wrong with the design.

Great in the day,, cuts off at night
Great camera that only works until nighttime. After night vision kicks in you can't use the PTZ function. If you try, the power drain exceeds the capacity of this little cam and it shuts down entirely. Once that happens is starts to make a high-pitched whine that's really annoying . You can fix it if you point a bright flashlight into the camera for a few seconds until the night vision clicks off. That lowers the power drain and gives it enough power to reestablish the video connection. I use a 100ft rs485 power cord which apparently is little too far into the red-zone for this.On the plus side its great outdoors. For over a year mine has been about 300ft from the ocean, in full sun, and no problems. I use it on preset positions and it moves fast.
