Dave Scadden Dakota Pro Orange Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard Package. 10'6"x31"x4"

I wish I would have shopped around more before I bought this board. First of all working with the company was great, ordering and shipping was an excellent experience, including the two times i sent the board back. The good things about the board are: it is very easy to ride, inflates and stores well, it is a lot of fun and great with kids and dogs, nearly indestructible. The bad part is that all three of the boards I received have had a longitudinal twist of about 4 inches from the bow to the stern. If you put the tail or tip level with a flat surface the opposite end will be 4 inches higher on the right side. You can see this twist whether it is in the water or out of the water. The impact of this twist is that you need to paddle on one side to compensate for the pulling to one direction. I found it to be about 6 to 2 ratio, meaning I paddle about six times on the one side and 2 times on the other to maintain a straight bearing. Dave has provided great service in that he has sent me two new boards in the attempt to remedy this problem.(he doesn't offer refunds) In dave's defense he said this has only happened a handful of times and is not a prevalent problem. He also says that after a half dozen inflations and deflations or so it should straighten out, however that was not the case with my first board. When he inflated the one I returned he said he could not se the twist, but he did not inflate it fully to between 11 and 15psi. The board I have now still has a twist I am hopping it will diminish, i will be taking it to Hawaii, where it will get lots of use, hopefully it will straighten out. I will follow up with this review, as I really hope this is an isolated case, although the odds of one customer receiving three boards with the same issue would appear to be more than just an isolated occurrence.
