I like this palette quite a bit! It's not as nicely made as my box from Jackson's house brand, but it is pretty sturdy and the corners were all properly folded in to avoid scratching. There were a few small spots that didn't have enamel/had a scratch, but they're minor and mostly a cosmetic issue.Though I like having more mixing space, I ended up removing the bottom mixing tray from the palette by removing the thin rod holding the hinges in place (VERY easy to do and can be placed back if needed) and the palette still closes, though not quite as securely. I'd still recommend this for any one looking for a large studio palette.Also--THANK YOU FOR NO LOGOS! I hate when companies put their logos on the palettes for no reason.

This palette is so fantastic, practical, convenient, but SO PERFECT to set up for on the go, travel painting! I ordered it because I am working on some specific watercolor projects and I want to focus on using and mixing just a few colors! Love all of the mixing space, the pull-ring, and room for 6 more half pans. or a travel brush, etc.!I will be ordering more for me and this is a gr8 gift for artist friends!!!!

This box is awesome. It has three mixing wells on the lid in lieu of the usual two. Plus it has the fold down panel with mixing wells. It holds an additional row of 7 half-pans right down the middle with a snug fit.

Love this little palette!! Great for travel and au plein painting. I added full pans for my most used colors and put half pans of my other colors down the center. I use a limited palette and all my colors fit! Ordered two more to make palettes of my lesser used colors, for a change of pace and change in seasons. Easy to hold in your hand and a surprising amount of mixing area.

Better than I expected and hopefully will work as a travel paint palette l.

I purchased this as a gift for my child. I am a professional artist. product has a good quality print surface with no scratches and appears to be sufficiently erosion resistant. All pan holders in the pan tray are solidly attached, which is the most common problem I have had with this style tray. fits standard-size half pans and full pans. the full pans that come with are very slightly smaller but are within tolerance to be used in all standard pan trays if you don't plan to use them in this box. The print is AMAZING I'm kind of jealous. maybe I'll get a little one for myself!

The unit was a little smaller than I anticipated. Even though it was too small for my original purpose, it serves very well for inking. I like it. Now I just need to find a larger one for my other need.

I paint botanicals, as I establish colors for a project I transfer the color pans to this case.Well made and love the color.

It's ok however it's not magnet...the portion that holds the half pans moves about...it should be magnet so it stays in place. I dropped it while painting on a field trip and most of the pans fell out. Not too impressed.

I love this palette! It is sturdy and perfectly holds both my full and half pans of watercolours.
