What should you know before buying this? Well it helps if you know how to put things back. I’ve lost a couple of the screwdriver bits and since it was my fault I haven’t reached out to ask for replacements. I’m sure if they were to actually break then they might replace them. If not it was super cheap when I got it so it should still be cheap(price was cheap, the quality was top notch)

Wonderful everyone should have one

In short, I think this is a great value kit if you don't think you'll ever need it more than a few times, or if you normally keep your tools out in the garage and want to have a tiny kit in the house to supplement it when you just need to do a quick tweak. The set costs $11, so be sure to set your expectations accordingly. I have a nice precision driver set from General that includes only a smattering of the tips found here, but they are the tips I always need. I bought this set on a whim just to have something with a wider variety of bits should I ever need them, but mostly to just have another set in the house. The quality seems fine. The driver holds the bits in its grip magnetically, which I found strong enough to be confident that it wouldn't ever lose a bit. Pressing down on the black piece above the top of the driver's grip allows you to telescope your bit out for those hard to reach places, and even more length can be achieved by adding the flexible extension. That surprised me, and means the driver outperforms my preferred precision set, so I've bumped my rating from three to four stars accordingly. The bits seem okay, I haven't really tested them and can't speak to their durability. Many of the reviews of this (and other, similar) cheap sets bash it unfairly for being of Chinese manufacture. Let's be absolutely clear: this set costs $11, which means the cost to manufacture the bits is measured in pennies. Obviously, these are not professional-grade tools that will last you a lifetime; you should expect them to eventually deform from use and break under stress. However, the variety of bits is so good for the price, I would recommend you not let that dissuade you from a purchase.

This a great set for the price. Bought this set originally to open my PS4 up to change the fan. It was perfect for the job. Since then I got an IT job and there’s not a week I don’t use it. From swapping SSDs and other upgrades, building gaming rigs, opening consoles, GameCube controllers and working on other electronic devices, this set did the job. Before I was an IT tech I was a mechanic for 10 years, seeing the pictures of other reviews I know a rounded out bit when I see one. They either used the wrong size or did not properly apply firm pressed against the screw head. I did get an iFixit kit from my job but I don’t even use it, I use this set because it’s been good to me so far.

Latch was broken when first received (picture shown). Many might not find this as a bad thing, but as a person on the go that utilizes their tools, I can't place the tools in my bag now as they all will fall out of the case. Like some tools in a carry bag, you use tape to keep it together which I have done now to keep the case together. This doesn't affect the tools as much, but will be testing them more frequently now. It's been a while since I have changed my tool set, so we'll see how long this one lasts. If the tools last pretty well, I'll come back and give it a higher rating.

I bought this for the nut drivers. I didn't notice the photo showing that the shaft in the handle extended (Pull down on the knurled section), that is such a useful feature! The bits are so long, however, that the magnet in the grip is all but useless. The guitar pick must have been added as an afterthought, it just rattles around in the case. Pretty good buy for the price.
