This rechargable flashlight it very bright! It does warm up quickly on it's highest setting, but I have to use it sometimes when looking through PVC pipes to help me find any clogs or gunk. outside, it is nice and bright. It comes with a multi-page instruction booklet because it has many features you can use the flashlight for like warning flashes and such. However, I only really needed a very bright flashlight, and I do like that it is rechargable. It is a little pricey, but worth it. It is heavy for a flashlight, but not so heavy that it's a burden. Definitely a good purchase

Pro: Ease of use. Brightness. Bang for the buck. It's compact for a light of its capability. Con: Not a pocket light. On/off button can be hard to find by feel or in the dark. Even in the pocket of a winter coat, its presence would be noticeable. Mine lives on a shelf near the back door, where I can grab it on my way out. Brightness adjustment is a dream: just hold down the on/off button and the light gradually ramps up to maximum power. Press and hold the power button again and the intensity ramps back down. It's that simple. It's there when I need it, unlike the Nitecore EDC35 I tried which suddenly and inexplicably changes modes and becomes unusable without much fussing and fidgeting. One of my new favorite lights -- just don't expect it to fit in pants pocket.

One of the better flashlights I own, it has been very durable, I've dropped it a few times and even ran it over "by accident" once and it only has a couple scratches. I definitely think that it's lumen amount it true, it is very bright, it does use a lot of power on the highest power but on the middle power it had it last for a super long time between charges. It weights more than the average flashlight but it's not too heavy. I would definitely recommend getting it. I know what flashlight I'll buy again if I need another.

Brighter than a super nova! I turned it on when I first opened it, and I was underwhelmed. Then I charged it. Holy **** this thing is basically a prolonged, directional flash grenade. Don’t shine it in your face without a welding mask

This is the best flashlight I’ve ever owned. I have a lot of flashlight experience from canoe racing (night and day), living out in the country on 20 acres, etc. My daughter, who is a caver and wild cave manager, always knows that I want the best flashlights for Christmas and birthday gifts.

I bought the Sofirn SP36 Pro expecting a powerful, reliable flashlight. Instead, I got an overengineered mess. First, the unit I received appears defective. After a 7-hour charge, it only works while plugged in, completely useless as a flashlight. Second, the so-called “user interface” is ridiculous. A single button is supposed to do a thousand different things depending on some morse-code pattern of clicks and holds. I just wanted a simple on/off and brightness control. Instead, I got a confusing, headache-inducing gimmick. The instructions are poorly written and the diagrams are a joke. What should be a straightforward product is buried under unnecessary complexity. Bottom line: This flashlight is not user-friendly, mine doesn’t even function properly, and I’m returning it. Save yourself the frustration.
