It's red
They work great, good strong lines and even though that are fine point they don't brake that easy

Great, but not as strong as regular lead.
i love it! great for sketching, adds something different, but i wish the lead was as strong as regular lead. it breaks easily.

Red Lead
Much better than the red pentel leads I was using before (too hard) but just a tad harder than the Uni blue. So not perfect, but still pretty good. I will buy them again. The blue leads are perfection.

Good idea to switch
I haven’t put my pencil down in 2 months now since I’ve switched to red lead.

So exciting to sketch with!
This is so fun to use to make my sketches look more vibrant! I see some reviewers have mentioned that the lead breaks easily but I haven't had that problem so far. It's possible that this lead works better for light-handed artists and with a better quality lead pencil to use the lead with. Using this lead with the Pentel P205 seemed to work fine based on personal experience.

Love the color; Breaks too much
I teach and find some students don't like me helping them in pen. I like hanging a different color writing to help differentiate who wrote what. The colored leads by Uni have been great to help with that. It can be erased if needed but students like the fact it looks like pencil. The downside has been how quickly the lead breaks when you write. As the leads appear and feel to be softer than pencil led, that's the main issue. I would say when writing, the colored leads break about four times as frequently as regular lead. Slightly annoying but with some practice acceptable. Uni makes a diamond-infused color lead for 0.3mm sizes. Would be interested to see if that would help but not sure if the cost would offset the benefit.

SURPISED TO FIND THEM
LOVE THE FACT THE RED LEADS ARE MADE FOR MECANICAL PENS. I WAS WORRIED THE LEADS WERE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO USE BUT THEY'RE STURDY LEADS AND WRITE WELL,
