Nice generator
It worked great. I did return it, not because any problems but because we decided to go with a whole house unit instead. It was difficult to communicate with the seller.

Solar not up to specs
I discovered that the max solar input is a hair over 10A, not the 15A advertised. At 20v, my 400w of panels maxed out at 210w. The same panels at 40v were able to hit 330w, same conditions. You'll need a high voltage setup and some luck to get their advertised 500w max.Otherwise it has pretty good output, has some efficiency loss with low loads, likely due to the inverter. For the price, if the solar worked as advertised, it would be 4.5 stars.

As a cook, I need true power!
This generator is solid, and strong. The company is renovating and making improvement to their products. As a cook I need to have power to complete my orders on a timely manner. I use hot plates to cook with and will use my solar panel if I must. Perhaps I am expecting more than I should from this! Looking forward to one with ability to run more than one item at a time. Learning how to use it more efficiently. If you are in need of assistance the company will respond promptly. Up Date……. I can't do this anymore the once concern the company had for their customers is no longer! It won't charge won't generate power! Wow... AMAZON! Please send me a boxes to send back😕

FFpower P2001 Solar Generator warranty.
Communication with FFpower is excellent and told me the warranty goes like this. 5 year warranty. The first 2 years FFpower pays for the shipping and return. The remaining 3 years of the warranty you pay for the shipping and they make any repairs during the 5 year period. There is no problem to keep the unit charging with solar if the capacity is full and unplugged from the wall so during the day my solar panels keep my living room items going for free electricity. I bought a remote control AC wall switch to turn the AC input back on when the solar power drops to low to go back to pass through mode. I'm at or near full capacity so no real battery wear. FFpower said this would be fine to do but in any case just make sure the voltage and power of the solar charging no more than 48V, 500W, otherwise the power station will be destroyed. FFpower gave me this promise. You have our word, as long as there is any technical problems, we will help you until it's solved. I'm not disappointed with this purchase.

No response from customer support, updated by response through amazon
I bought this item in June of 2022. Up until December of 2023, it worked great, meeting all of my needs. Then, it stopped charging. It powers on when plugged in, and even shows the icon of the cord being plugged in, and will even draw power if I connect something to one of the outputs. The power coming in exactly matches the power going out. But it refuses to charge the battery. I tried all of the steps to correct this, and then tried contacting customer support, both on their web site and via email. No response and no help. For a product that cost over $1000 I expect to get customer support when it fails.UPDATE:After posting this review, the company contacted me through Amazon. Apparently their customer support on the website and the email that they list on their website is shut down. They do support through Amazon. They had me ship the unit to them free of charge, repaired it, and returned it to me. It is now working perfectly again. Other than the cheap plastic doors that cover the outlets and the charging ports, it is a great unit. If you run into issues with this item if you buy it, contact the company through Amazon ("get support" from you order page).

This is the seller to work with!!!
I have purchased three generators from this seller now and would do it again! Bottom line… This is where you get high quality at a good price and a lot of integrity backing it up!I absolutely loved the 500 Watt model I bought first. It was loaded with features, easy to move around and I preferred it over the Jackery (which is also a very good product).I was so pleased with it I bought the 2000 W FFPower generator next… Actually I bought two of them because my neighbor was also very impressed. Then for some reason, with a 500 W quit charging. I got in touch with the seller who had great communication and worked with me to try to figure out what was going on. Neither one of us knew what was going on and it could have been something I did - We just didn’t know.Ultimately though, the seller paid to have it returned and refunded my money. In exchange I bought a replacement (At an even better price ) from this seller out of gratitude for the great customer service and because This is a place I know I can go that has the integrity to back up each product.Way to go, FF Power!

Just received, so far, so good!
This little unit arrived 2 days ago. Unboxed, read the manual, turned it on. It had 48% power still stored in it, so charged it up to 100% (1 hour), unplugged it and figured we'd test it. Plugged a laptop and a big box fan set to high speed into it and let them run. After 10 hours of running the power generator showed 15% remaining. So, not too bad. Recharging to 100% on AC power took just under 2 hours.Next test will be to see how long it might be able to run our 20cf fridge (6amp operating, but unsure what the startup requirement is).We have solar panels arriving soon, once they arrive we'll find out how long it takes those to charge the unit.
