Pen LOVERS - This is the ONE to own!
I'll just start by saying that I have autism and one of my biggest struggles is sensory issues with writing on paper. My top pens are the ones that glide across paper the way you could only dream of. I have tested nearly 900 different types/brands/styles of black ink pens and this pen right here has become my NUMBER ONE pen. PROS - SMOOTH WRITING: It writes so beautifully on all types of paper (my cheap Walmart notebook, my field notebooks, my expensive thick paper, napkins, etc). It's a fine tip WITHOUT being scratchy or damaging the paper (previously loved pilot 0.38 and 0.25 tips). - FINE TIPS: Pen is a 0.5 tip, which I consider thicker than what I normally love, but this writes and is thin like my 0.38 pen, so yeehaw for me. - 4 COLORS IN 1: I work in healthcare and round on so many patients, I hated carrying around 3 pen colors AND a highlighter in my fanny pack, so I started the hunt for a multi-color pen. My delight when I saw that Pilot made this one!! I've tried other competing brands / random other brands of multi-color click pens and they just don't perform as well as this one (they smudge, poor writing quality, weird weight). - SMALL: Its not overly thick/big with the multiple colors to ruin the ergonomic feel of it in your hand. My hand never gets tired. - REFILLABLE: There is only one other pen I have actually used so much it needed refilled on ink (which was the platinum preppy fountain pen), however, I have now worn TWO of these pens out in the black color. Luckily, refills are easy to buy so I can just swap out the ink since the pen barrel is so high quality and still looks brand new. CONS - The clicker's are placed at the TOP of the pen, so because of my small hands, I have to stop what I'm writing completely to reach up on the pen and click the colors. This is the one point that I do wish the clickers were in the same spot as this one cheaper brand on amazon that comes in a multipack (they write well but they aren't as ergonomic/comfy in the hand). OVERALL This pen is my favorite thing ever.

Great for nursing clinicals.
I love this pen for nursing clinicals! I had the classic four color but like this one so much more due to the fine point. The pink color is cute as well and I like the spring clip.

WAY better than Bic! Still too large diameter. I have only had a short time though...
I previously bought a 3-pack of BIC 4-Color Pro pens for about the same price as ONE of these pens. Around $7 for one of these, and around $7 for THREE of those. This is a better pen. The BIC is cheaper feeling (even though they're both plastic pens), the writing sometimes has little gaps and skips in it, and the clip is pretty useless (can't clip it on the color of a T-shirt or polo shirt and expect it to stay there, and it jabs you in the neck). I opened up this Pilot and it's a whole different experience. The writing is super smooth and skip-free, and the clip actually works. My only complaint is that it's like pulling teeth trying to find a narrow diameter 4-color pen, and this one is no more narrow than any of the others I have found. That stinks. And being plastic it isn't exactly professional looking or feeling. But whatever...it works well and does its job better than some cheaper alternatives. I will update my review after I have had it for a while and can speak to how it holds up with more use.

The best multi-color pen out there
I love this pen, and find myself coming back to it every time. Probably the king of multi-colored pens. I prefer the fine tip compared to thicker pens like 0.7mm.

The best 4-color pen and pen in general
I've tried many multi color pens from different companies and this is by far the best. I just finished out my ink on one of these pens which I've been using for a little over a year and just recieved a new one which is just as good (alternatively I could have just refilled the ink). In the time I've used it, it has been consistent and never skips on me. It also feels very smooth to write with while having a very fine line. Visually it almost looks like the new one with little to no discoloration. The only thing that is sort worn is the clip. The clip still works fine, but if I push on it to the side I can feel it pop out of the joint (but it immediately pop back in when I let go). The only downside to this pen, is that because it is so fine, it can be hard to tell colors apart in dim lighting. At first I thought my Bic multi pen was brighter than this, but it was in fact the line thickness. In a side by side, the acroball was noticably brighter and also more vibrant. I still prefer this fine line type as I think it gives a much cleaner look. I think I got this pen for 4 dollars, but it is still well worth it at the 6 dollars it's priced at at the time of writing this. ...forgot to mention, it is the most comfortable pen i have to write with since it has the typical wide grip of a 4 color pen and also does not need much force to put down ink.

I was surprised at how much I like this pen for everyday use. The ink flows really smoothly and all the colours have good saturation with no smudging. The tips are fine and the ink flows steadily regardless of what angle you hold the pen. This is my new favourite everyday pen!

It’s the best multi pen I have ever bought, the tip is very fine and the ink is smooth, the design of the pen is very minimalistic and clean with a transparent / foggy grip that has has a dot texture / pattern which makes it very comfortable to hold

I think I’m more of a gel girl, but this is nice. I’m more of a fan of the coleto tbh - but this is affordable and cute for on the go.
