Great Brake Kit!
This brake kit fit perfect on my 2015 Silverado. I liked how the rotors were labeled left and right (they are directional) so you don't get them mixed up. I also loved that the guide pin boots are included in this kit! That is a fantastic item that is usually overlooked on most brake jobs. These work great and I can definitely feel a difference when towing / stopping with my boat.

Fit my 2018 Silverado Z71 with zero issues
Shipped fast and the packaging was great to make sure that all the items do not get damaged. Everything installed on my 2018 Silverado LTZ /Z71 with no issues on 4/12/2025. I will update this review after a few months or earlier if I start seeing/hearing problems.

High quality brake pads and rotors
I have installed many different pad and rotor sets on many different vehicles, this set was top quality, It came with good instructions, and was a perfect fit. I chose powerstops heavy duty trailer towing set because we tow a camper with our Yukon and I wanted to have brakes that could handle heat and abuse if we were towing in the mountains or hills. I was impressed this kit came with new boots for the guide pins as well, as one of mine was looking a little rough, though removing the boots from the bracket was a chore (think a hammer and flat head) and installing them (pressed them in with a impact socket the fit over the metal part of the boot on my vise) was not easy, but that is the design of the brakes not of the kit, plus you don't want them coming loose. beyond that install was a breeze. They sent disc brake grease in the pack as well for the contact point to prevent squealing etc. but a little more would have been nice (especially if you do the boots because you will want to clean and regrease the slide pins), I have a tub of disc brake grease though so it was not issue, and you can get an additional pack at any parts store for next to nothing. I also appreciated the guide for bedding (braking in) the new pads and rotors. I know it seems like a step that people often don't do, but it is very important especially with the drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. These we worth every penny, and I will be using powerstop brakes on anything i do in the future. Worth noting, when you finish the bedding procedure you will have a slight brake burning smell, don't be concerned this part of the process and is just the coatings burning off and getting the brakes bedded properly.

Very good, takes some getting used to.
When I got my Silverado 1500 the whole reason I got it was to tow. I upgraded the air intake, radiator fans, transmission cooler, headers, cats, and exhaust (full engine back exhaust,) heavy duty suspension, even got an edge programmer for the extra towing boost. So I thought I had all my bases covered for towing slightly higher than the towing rating. I regularly haul 10,000-14,000lbs with no hint of anything over heating except for one component a lot of us forget about, the brakes. I didn't realize it until I was going down a very steep grade without a trailer that I noticed that my rotors had warped from all the towing. So feeling stupid I looked and these were the highest rated towing brakes for the price and they are that way for a reason, had some issues during instal the pads were a very tight fit to get into the caliper and then when placing over the rotor I had to use a clamp on the calipers because of the tight clearances but it wasn't anything that wasn't easily over came with some persistence. Broke them in according to the instructions. I might have goosed the accelerations after the braking and left a few black trails on the road and smoke in the air but hey putting a smile on my nephew's face was worth the bit of tread I lost. Haven't had a single issue with them. Definately takes some time to get used to the increased braking power over stock and really had to have a LIGHT foot when driving on the snow or the ABS will kick in. So over all very worth the price.

Now that’s a set of brakes!
These brake pads and rotor set was some of the best quality I have seen for the price. Came with all the hardware, lube and even new rubber boots for the caliper bolts! One thing to mention is that the grip is very robust at first and must be broken in properly. You will probably hear weird sounds and think something was installed wrong… however most likely it is just very aggressive bite at first but will smooth out once the brake in has been done. I am impressed with the braking power and the rotors with the cross drill looks sharp. You will smell burning brakes if you broke them in properly and that will dissipate after a few trips.Oh this went on a 2013 GMC Yukon XL which is a tank and it stops better than when new.
