I've had low blood sugar for years but lately it was out of the norm so I decided to purchase a monitoring system. I decided on Lovia as everything seemed right - fast, easy, and accurate. I missed the fact it didn't come with batteries (so get two AAA's!) I love the carrying case it comes with. I was able to set the date/time, etc with ease. Being my first monitor, I relied on the instructions which were a bit of a struggle. Better instructions and/or a video for first timers would be helpful. However, here's a few great things: Meter will automatically come on once the test strip is inserted. If you're unsure of which end goes in the meter, there is a teeny, tiny arrow that shows on the strip (could be enhanced better). It needs very little blood and the reading is fast. First time I had a hiccup or two but it really is simple, fast, accurate and easy once you know what you're doing. I've used it for almost a week now and would recommend!

...especially when the the test strips have a expiration date. The expiration date of the included test strips is 7/14/24. The date of the manufacture/boxing of the entire kit is listed as: "2021-04." So, I received a test kit that is going on 2 years. Not terrible, not great. I had already watched a YouTube video on how to conduct the test, so I was able to successfully figure out (with a bit of assistance of the included Quick Start Guide) the testing process pretty quickly. I was successful with my first attempt. Pretty cut and dry. Good system, only paid $16.98. I'm well satisfied.

I bought this because I want to be able to this all by myself. This’s so easy to use, I love that it have the month, day and the time on the top. It let you know when to put your blood on the strip it give you a count down to let you know to finish up if not it will let you know if your strip was out to long and you need to change it, The memories on this machine stay for along time so you can go back and check. It’s a nice size not to big. The best part is the ejector you don’t have to worry about touching the needle or the strip when you done 👍🏾

I opened the package and inserted the batteries. I followed the directions on how to set it up but i wasn't seeing all of the digits on the screen they were describing. I thought maybe it was the batteries so u got brand new batteries and tried again. Still didn't work. It was the date that was missing so i tired to just go ahead and test my blood but got a reading of 12 which I know wasn't correct. I bought this on Prime Day in July but didn't test it until August and it was past the return date. Now I am stuck with a product that doesn't work!

Product came fast with easy to understand instructions. I mainly bought it as I've had several doctors appointments in the past 3 months and most everyone assumes I'm diabetic. I guess because of my age and being overweight. I bought this to make sure of what my readings are. So far, after several weeks of testing different times of day, night, fasting, one to two hours after eating. The readings have all been in the normal range. Very thankful to be able to purchase and use such a device to monitor my health.

I like How easy this is to use. Simple instructions for a quick look at your glucose level. After my last blood work showed me to be pre-diabetic, and my doctors concern, I decided to check myself. I am now able to keep an eye on it, and after some diet changes, have lowered my numbers to a normal level. A good device to keep your health in check.
