Truly waterproof and Greaseproof
I use this notebook in the manufacturing environment which is full of water, grease, and dirt. Although the paper may get dirty, you can actually wipe it gently to clean it (mostly) and the notes stay in tact. I really like this notebook for technical field work within the factory as well as out.

This book was sturdy and beautiful. Very well made, cannot day enough about the quality. Totally water proof pages, super cool it was the first thing I tested! Buy this you will not regret it.

Great field book!
I bought this as a field notebook for when I go hiking, camping, and hunting. I wanted to be able to draw and journal and be able to keep it well even in harsh weather and environments. Writes on fantastic with pencil. Love this book and reccomend it to anyone looking for what this book offers.

Must have notebook for research
Bought this for a lab notebook for a project involving dissections. Needed paper that would hold up to scribing during a dissection where the pages could come in contact with ethanol. Would highly recommend Rite in the Rain for any type of research/note taking that can be exposed to a wet environment. Hard to erase, but hey you aren’t suppose to erase data anyways 🤷🏻♀️Purchased through amazing when the local bookstore didn’t have the size and model of notebook I needed. Ended up being cheaper on amazon.

Goes everywhere with me
Very durable notebook. Purchased the spiral bound addition as well. As an electrician it handles writing job notes, materials list and what not in all conditions a breeze. Great notebook. Will purchase again when needed

Awesome notepad handles water with no problems. Yup, you can write when it is raining and the paper can handle it. You need a special pen though. The pens from Rite In The Rain are high quality and pressurized, work in the rain, but VERY expensive, and they only come in black. I choose to use multi-color ballpoint pens and they work great on this paper. Unfortunately GEL ink pens do not work well (not even GEL permanent markers)

Excellent book, perforations on pages not always convenient
Brilliant book. The beige colour, though not pretty, really works with bright sun. I also like the checked page pattern, makes it easy to write sample lists, descriptions and drawings to scale. The pages are perforated near the spine if you want to tear one out. Handy if you need it, but a risk to lose pages as well. Book has been going for two years/ field-seasons and happy with it!
