Ultralight
This windscreen rocks. Ultralight and strong. Much better (although not as light) as a heavy duty foil windscreen.Prefer this because it stays in place better and doesn't blow away.

Short stuff
Yea, aluminum foil would work but this is a little more versatile. It's liteweiight and just a couple of inches high so it's for an alcohol stove that sits low. I suspect the coloration will change with heat but to be expected. Pocketable. But won't work as a pot stand.

Small and light
It is perfect for protecting the alcohol stove and is small and light.

Why even make a product like this? Again my fault though for not checking ...
First off it's my fault for not looking more closely at the produce description on the size. Now having said that there is no stove this windscreen can be used for it is way to small. I don't think this would adequately provide wind protection for use with any stove including any of Vargo stoves. Why even make a product like this? Again my fault though for not checking on the size. In any case this can not be used as a windscreen unless you make the tinniest little stove. Say maybe like the size of a half dollar with side no taller then a 1/4 inch. Look else where for a wind screen.

better than a tin can
Wished it didn't change color after a few uses, but light and works great

Exactly what I wanted!
works perfect with any alcohol stove. Folds to fit into most pots. I wouldn't hike anywhere without this... yeah you can make a foil windscreen, but this thing will last forever as long as you don't step on it.

very easily bent, but i'm not sure how they could ...
very thin and flmsy, very easily bent, but i'm not sure how they could make this any better while keeping the weight of the product down.

Utilitarian Low profile windscreen
Arrived fast and intact (Amazon's 1 day shipping is phenomenal)...as advertised....well made good sturdy but light material (Anodized Aluminum) hard to bend....black powder coating holds in heat making the stove more efficient and it's easy to clean spatter off the surface of the screen...all panels extended it is 161/4" in length....it will surround up to a 5" pot and will make a semi circle of anything larger...........I bought this for my Vargo Triad stove and it fits that purpose perfectly and accommodates a 900ml MSR titanium pot perfectly<...........>but this screen also works well with the smaller low profile canister stoves (Lexada MSR) and the Trangia alcohol stove. With my Trangia stove, I just set it on the ground, adjust the windscreen around it to accommodate the size pot used and the top edge of the windscreen serves as a pot stand....great set up if you are going light and minimal....this windscreen/pot stand is a great piece of kit for the alcohol stove.

Don't buy it in any colour
I used this as a shield and all the black coating melted off during its first use. It also released an odour which was probably from the coating melting off. The shield was in close contact to my flame and my flame was in direct contact with the shield. What is the point in buying a shield with a coloured coating if it is unable to endure heat or contact from a flame from its first use.Should this product not be designed with that in mind considering it is a shield for a stove?Guess I'll be using it now seeing as I melted its coating off.

Not what expected.
Way smaller than I thought. I was hoping I could use it for multiple stoves but will only be useful if I have a stove very low to the ground. Will not work for stoves with legs or that have small tanks underneath. Was going to return but amazon wants to charge me half the cost In shipping. Maybe i can pull it apart and use the pieces as coasters

Not as sturdy as I expected.
I expected this to be a little sturdier construction, being as it's made by Vargo. First time I opened it a hinge tab hooked and twisted. Bent back really easy with tiny pliers. First item I have purchased by them that wasn't stellar. Feels cheap.
