Music won’t stay on
This iPod worked ok for a while but now when I get to about 15,000 songs it erases them all. I can’t get it to hold music. And now I can’t return it. Go figure.

Works, so far, if only barely
As others have said, it would be nice if there were some instructions included, and maybe some troubleshooting guides. I had trouble syncing this new iPod with my iTunes (for Windows), but it did work eventually. But you also need to know that the 1 terabyte of storage is illusory, at least for me. I was able to put almost twice the songs on this new iPod as on the 160gb iPod classic, but only that, and really only used about 1/3 of the 1TB drive. But I don't think it's an issue with the hardware. Rather it's the iTunes (for Windows?) software. If I tried to load all of my iTunes library on to the iPod, the iPod would do a hard reboot, and I had to go back and reinstall the software and upload all of my library (which takes about half a day). I found that the software can't seem to handle more than about 50,000 songs. So this admittedly is not an issue for most normal people, but music freaks like me will NOT get the full benefit of the storage space. So, if it's worth it to you to spend several hundred more dollars to get another 18,000 songs on your iPod, then this is a good deal.
