Went away for holiday and came home to an infestation of mice. Didn't want to take the time to use the bucket. This caught them placed in doorways.. Picked them up and tossed them. it is finally quiet and food is locked up and I have not seen anymore. My daughter thinks the sticky pads are inhuman but she wasn't in my house with mice poop on the floors and counters everyday. She didn't open drawers and find nests with babies. Mice get smart so you have to move the traps around but again they work great.

No chemical smell and no mess. I place these indoors and outdoors in inconspicuous locations where only bugs would be crawling (ie: back of pantry, along walls behind furniture, etc....). As someone with no pets who lives in a totally clean and highly organized home, I am still amazed at the amount of bugs that get trapped over the course of 6 months. I change the garage traps every 3 months and the indoor traps every 6 months. They have even trapped several scorpions. This one made the mistake of getting his tail caught and then died without getting food or water. Important Note: If you have a scorpion problem, you will need to hunt the scorpions at night with a black light. These traps are helpful but you need to buy a blacklight flashlight and Terro makes a scorpion killer bug spray which is fantastic.... Installation tip: Indoors, I use a bit of clear tape to hold the traps tightly against the floor and wall. This prevents them from being moved when the cleaners vacuum and mop. In the garage, I use masking tape (regular or blue) which helps keep them firmly attached to the concrete. You definitely want them right up against a wall. You will be amazed at what gets trapped inside. These reviews take valuable time. It works ok to catch insects but there is no bait (i.e. scent) so it does not work as well as the ones with scent. I use them for my garage and have been trying to trap a large spider that will not crawl on it for anything. The spider and the sticky trap has been for 2 weeks and the spider is still running around BUT that trap has caught tons of other insects I didn't even know we had (its a new house we moved into)

What I have noticed is that bugs are seasonal. I live in the country. I keep these out on the floor by the walls, three in my 1000 sq. ft. basement. I change them out about every 3 months. I use less poison (bug bombs) now than I used too. I see fewer crickets than I used too. If I start to see them I am reminded to change out my glue boards like you see here. I mean look how effective these things are. Amazing!

These aren't bad. I used these to trap mice that have entered my home. Somehow most of the time the mice can avoid them like they know what they are for. I usually use them in the flat position to try to catch mice, however the one time i used them as the directions say to use them the mouse was about to get away and all i trapped was mouse hair. However i did trap a smaller mouse with one of these in the flat position, so they DO work better than some other mouse traps i have used. (P.S. i have trapped many insects including spiders that i did not know i had without even trying)

So far have caught nothing.
