Ideal if you don't want a smartphone
My mother had the 2G version of this phone which had passed its sell by date, so replaced it with the newest version and she's over the moon. Not complicated easy to use and practical.

We forget that there is a generation that find smart phones un-nerving- this is a good option
My mother finds smart technology more and more challenging. A simple phone that also has an alarm option in case of emergencies is a must these days - especially when families live far apart. The large buttons are hard to mistake and have a click that confirms a press. The ringer could be a bit louder, but it's still okay for the purpose. The alarm/auto alert button works fine but could be easy to press by accident. There is an integrated camera, but only to take low resolution pictures, and a torch facility. This is complimented by expandable memory using a mini sd card - useful for backing up contacts etc.The battery life is brilliant. We get used to a phone charge only lasting a day with smart phones. The charge with this phone lasts for days between charges. So much so that it you can take it for granted that it will be there when needed.A big plus is that if it gets damaged or broken, the cost of replacement is low enough to not hurt. The sound quality on calls seems to be set for clarity - possibly for those whose hearing is compromisedThis replaces a previous model that had a slightly different styling. It's not a slim aluminium wonder of technology - it's a phone made from plastic that does the job for a reasonable price.

AN EXCELLENT DUMBPHONE WITH A RUBBISH CAMERA
Originally got a Doro 6620 because I could no longer read texts on my Nokia. My first Doro did 5 years of good service, would still be using it but it was 3G. The 4G 6820 is almost identical but greatly improved. Nicer feel to buttons, simpler more logical navigation. Also both halves are white on the inside, on the 6620 the back was white and soon looked scuffed. Quality build of Swedish electronics, this device makes no pretence of almost being a smartphone. Adding stuff like Facebook is like adding indicators to a bicycle, it's still not a car. One thing they haven't improved is the worst camera in the history of photography - don't even think about taking photos unless your life depends on it. But for an old bloke with bad eyesight who just wants to make phone calls this is brilliant. Well chuffed.

Very poor
I wouldnt have given this any stars if possible which is the only reason it got one! Absolute rubbish. Never worked properly but now, only 2 months after purchased, unable to charge and stay charged for more than a couple of minutes. Contacted the seller and they are not interested and ignored my messages. Terrible product and seller.

Decent phone with serious charging issue
The phone itself is as described. It is easy to use, although the way the use of the 'OK' button is signalled could do with improving. Unfortunately, the charge indicator is something of a nightmare.Issue one. The flashing red indicator means both 'needs charging' and 'being charged'. This is not useful in view of the second issue.Issue two. This phone seems to be unable to decide if it is fully charged or not. It will report that it is fully charged then a few minutes later report that it has only 25% charge and indicate it needs recharging. This is all very strange compared with its behaviour straight out of the box when the initial charge worked perfectly!
