While it is new, there is a capacitor inside which stores energy required to drive the clock when power is disrupted. However it is found that the capacitor performance drops with aging of the product resulting in the timer not working correctly.

Good for parking and satire lights
I have only two points. First the accuracy is not very good, but can be accepted for where accuracy is not critical. Second I am not quit clear that running of clock when power supply interrupted to the motor for more than one hour or more. If supplier clarify this point. then it would be useful. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product. It is in service from 16 November 22
