I like it :)
I have read a lot of comments/ reviews and compared some models and brands. Glad I picked this one. I think it works just fine. Very happy with purchase. Easy to set up (I purchased an Air Con window kit separately). After about 20 minutes and when the initial heat from the room is extracted, it really got to work cooling the air, there is a flap on the top of the machine which when activated distributes the breeze better. I put it on for 2 hours before bed and the large room was cool. It says 18 degrees on the machine is the lowest it goes which is true but it feels much cooler than that in real life. I had to use a duvet for the first time in weeks. It’s paired well with phone app. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but that’s because it a new model. I don’t mind paying an extra for quality. It seems very well made. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty …. NOISE! It’s an absolutely acceptable level for air con. It’s a gentle sound which I find quite soothing. (Maybe I am used to it as I have been used to basic fan for about 2 years prior). I have only used the sleep mode for half hour which cuts the sound down by 30 percent. To be honest the room was cool enough after having it on for a couple hours prior. I think another issue people have when reviewing is that its not like a fan you would have pointing at you for instant breeze which is what some people may expect. It’s a whole room cooler, not a fan if you know what i mean? There has also been many reviews about the hose too. The hose is quite long and I was surprised by this after reading the reviews but I am able to locate the air conditioner unit close to my window. Consideration should be made to where you are putting it in the room. If you aren’t able to put your machine that close to a window or door you should think about buying a different make with a longer hose. Overall I’m happy

Great machine- extension hose not long enough.
Great machine- looks good and works well. However we are limited to only one place where it can work efficiently as the extension hose does not stretch that far.Contacted DeLonghi customer services and they don't sell any extra parts which would help.Might have to look at a different option for extension , but not sure it would work as well.A little disappointing but still glad I purchased the product as the cool air has been so nice on these hot days!

An utter disappointment
Bulky, short hose, very noisy. Does not cool well at all. The remote needs resetting on a regular basis. The phone app is an utter joke, more akin to somebody's first try at an iPhone app ten years ago. I am really disappointed with every single aspect of this machine.

Excellent portable air conditioner.
Works very effectively as a cooling and dehumidifying device. Although not silent (no rational person would expect it to be), it is considerably quieter and very much more attractive than the cheaper, failed device it replaces in my home.Other reviewers complain that the WiFi capability and accompanying app aren’t good. I found that initial connection to WiFi is far easier if the unit is as close as possible to a WiFi router or repeater. Once the initial connection is made, the connection is reliable and the App does everything that you would want it to.I purchased mine from Amazon Warehouse at a fantastic discount. The packaging was damaged as expected but the unit and its accessories had only incredibly minor cosmetic imperfections that I had to search hard to find.

Good to cool, connectivity problematic
This is the second PACEL112CSTWIFI unit I've bought. The first one was returned due to intemittent WIFI connectivity issues. Second one is exhibiting the same behaviour now and I'm troubleshooting with customer services (they have never had this issue). Its not silent, its not cheap, seems to need emptying every other day, and whilst it gets 3 stars for actually cooling the room down very well, the poor connectivity which seems to frequently require resetting up (remote control also loses connection) really lets it down.

Nothing short of a masterpiece!
I did a lot of research before buying this air conditioner since it's a significant investment, but I’m so glad I chose De’Longhi. Surprisingly, it’s cheaper on Amazon than on their website. The appearance, portability, size, and ease of setup are all top-notch – nothing short of a masterpiece! As for the quality, well, De’Longhi speaks for itself. It’s true: buy cheap, buy twice. This unit is worth every penny and performs brilliantly. Highly recommend! It’s still quite loud even of the quiet setting but it’s a small price to pay on a hot night!

Great aircon for size
Very expensive to run and not that powerful, it didn’t cope well with heat wave, was running 24x7 for three weeks was very disappointing,

Not too bad but why do they feel the need to call it silent
Remote and app are a good way to operate this.cooling capacity is massively over exaggerated unless mine is faulty. The oxford dictionary may have the definition of silent massively wrong as well.It is possibly quieter than my last 400 quid chinesium cooler but silent is not a word to be used.Quiet when on fan only mode, yes, but you dont buy this to be on fan only mode.not a bad unit for around 500 quid, but it isnt!!
