A great iron
Mum was very pleased with this iron she found it very light and the steam function brilliant.

Full Steam Ahead
The flex on my old iron started to wear and wires were poking out. I only usually iron my work shirts and the odd set of bedding so my iron gets fairly light use and as a result I didn't really want to spend much money on one. I'm a bit of an oddity in the sense that I like a fairly heavy iron so was a little aprehensive as to how heavy this one is but I needn't have worried as it has plenty of heft to it but without feeling too heavy, it heats up quickly and I especially like that the tank is easy to see into when filling with water. The only criticism I have is that I often like to use my iron on the hottest setting for linen without steam and on this iron you can only have the hottest cotton/linen setting with continous steam which is a bit of a shame as most irons will give you the choice of using continuous steam or not. Given the price of the iron and the sort of use it gets, I'm pretty satisfied and would recommend it to anyone after a simple, affordable iron for the odd shirt or pillowcase.

Doesn't spray water
The spray nozzle on the iron doesn't work so I'm having to use a spray bottle wirh water in it. Trying to get an answer from customer service is hopeless.

Just an iron

Lightweight iron
If you require a lightweight iron, this is fine - it's light weight is good for anyone who has difficulty with a normal weight iron, however you do need to press on a bit harder to get the same standard of ironing, so we'd recommend purchasing a normal weight iron unless you really need a lightweight one for some reason.We did have an issue whereby little or no steam came out even on the "steam" setting; we found we could rectify this by adding more water (in other words if we only part fill with water it doesn't work well). Also it helps to move the iron quite vigorously to make sure that the water gets through to the steaming element.

For the price one cannot go wrong, a real gem
