I thoroughly enjoyed this book. When it comes to true stories I always gravitate towards them. The book is written well. I find myself to be a self learner so the investing tips were useful. Some I have never heard of and some I was familiar with. I feel like if I can take one thing from a book and implement it I consider it a successful read. I can definitely say this was a success. But it's not just an investing book. You get a real life look into the success of a company and ultimately the unbelievable way the company is taken down. Good read. I recommend.

I found the book open and telling of mistakes made and consequences suffered and learning so much along the way. This book is perfect for anyone who is involved with financial investing as it provides guidance on what to look for, what to look out for and aids in the process of becoming an informed and educated investor. I highly recommend this book and it’s author.

Chris wrote a heartfelt yet raw sharing of his mistakes and failures such that we can all learn to not do what he did. The lessons and advice shared perhaps are obvious to many but for those that are in the industry can probably relate how difficult it can be when you are in the thick of it. Kudos to Chris for being transparent and having a heart of repentance. I would recommend this book for anyone looking to launch their own fund so they understand the basic requirements to have a fighting chance of success.

Burning Bellatorum is gripping tale of shame, regret, vulnerability, honesty and self-reflection. Bentley brings a raw transparency in his writing, and I felt his pain and emotion as he reconciles his choices. This book is not only for investors or entrepreneurs (although excellent for them), it's for anyone who's made a terrible decision at some point in their lives. Which, at one point or another I believe we all have - I know I have. A great, well written story of redemption that I highly recommend.
