The old grids in my filter had not been replaced in over 15 years. When I opened the filter to clean the grids this year, most of them were broken or had small rips in them. Small debris was entering the pool through the return jets even after adding more DE, so I knew it was time to replace the grids.I ordered these Pleatco PFS2448 grids from Amazon after reading the reviews and hoping that they would fit my filter. The price was great (much better than my local pool supply stores). The grids arrived in just a few days in a heavy cardboard box. All of the grids were perfect and I was happy with the quality of the fabric used on the grids. They were easy to replace and have been functioning perfectly since they were installed. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive, quality filter grid replacement!

Old filter system in my house which came with my house purchase. The filter fibers were complete useless, constant dirty, poor circulation, alge problems.I found a model # tag on the old filter and searched the web Amazon seller was the best price by $$$ of dollars. Bought new house in fall 2021 and opened the Pentair filter housing to find a number of ribs broken and filter grids with sizable holes. Seems like the only thing preventing all DE from going into my pool was the 25lbs that was plugging the bottom and internal gaps. Bought this Pleatco aftermarket based on the price savings and after reading positive reviews and was happy that I did. Perfect fit and the materials/construction seem very good. I dropped my dirty and clogged filter pressure down from 25 PSI down to 12 PSI after charging the new filter grids with DE. After about a month I am very happy with performance. Highly recommend for a great value and high quality aftermarket component.

Clouds were being blown into my pool as I charged my Hayward DE4820 - obviously something was wrong that would not fix itself. The top of my manifold has a small crack and I had a spare so I started disassembling the grid assemble to discover that my grids had fallen apart; the pipes that fit into the manifold had cracked and crumbled. The cost of a full replacement was hundreds and a new filter system over a thousand dollars. I was happy to find these grids and ordered them. Two days later the box arrived, I reassembled the grid, manifold and bottom assembly and installed in in my filer with a nicely lubricated O Ring. I powered on the pump and charged the filer with DE and no clouds returned to the pool; so far so good. One day later, the pool was crystal clear. If your filter is not working due to failed grids, buy these now; they will solve your issue, you'll save money and have the satisfaction of repairing your own filter system. I could not be happier. (I did not rate durability as I've only had them for less than a week; it would not be appropriate to rate that with so little usage. I suspect it will last as long as the OEM parts; they look as identical as can be - but new of course.)

purchased these on a cross my finger basis, have Hayward DE4820. installed no issues.Works like a charm, pool is clear, great fit. how long they last? no idea. might give it a year or 2, but quality seems good and 2 days in... would buy again.

My old filter grids failed after 15 years of dutiful service. These appear well built and just as good, if not better than the originals. I had some concerns when I was installing the grids because of some gaps in the filter fabric that I observed at the seams where the tops interface into the header. I decided to take the wait and see approach and installed the grids anyways.I am happy to report that there wasn't any DE leakage into the pool and that my pool cleared up quickly and my starting operating pressure is now a few pounds lower than with the old grids. The grids have been running for about two weeks and continue to do a good job. I definitely recommend these over the over-priced Leslie / Hayward grids.I gave it four stars because we are at the end of our season and I don't know about durability. I will let you know if we have issues next season.

At first I was so pissed, my pool stayed dirty and cloudy. I cleaned my filter and saw holes in all my cartridges but 3. I thought, Dam Gotta spent $150 bucks for new cartridges, hate the idea.I remembered I bought the last ones on Amazon and was gonna complain like nobody can complain.Had trouble finding my Order in the search box. Finally discovered that I had purchased them way, way back in 2018. Then It hit me, I was lucky for them to last that long. Four years of constant abuse in the filter, well worth the money. Should have gone out long time ago.Needless to say, was I happy to buy another set from Pleatco!!! Do yourself a favor and buy from Pleatco!I live in Houston so could be the reason, but I got next day early afternoon delivery after ordering these on a Sunday afternoon!!Mark in Houston

I had to replace my first set due to a pool company taking it apart and cracking them (Not their fault old age) So, I replaced them after they left with these. Fit perfect and allowed my pool to operate like when I first installed the system. DE powder doesn't get by, so the microns are perfect.
