Q: Can I iron with steam on this mat?

We do not recommend using hot steam on our product as it can generate a characteristic smell of wool.

Q: Can I cut it down to a smaller size?

Yes, our product is customizable, you can cut it to your demanding size or attach it with some other pieces for larger space.

Q: Why is there some black residue on my pad and fabric after ironing?

You have used a too high temperature on the mat that burns some fibers on the surface, adjust your iron to a more suitable heat and this will stop.

Q: Does this come with a storage felt bag?

We do not offer a storage felt bag for this size, when not in use, store the mat in a dry and well-ventilated place.
