Its a pretty but expensive paperweight for your desk. As a keyboard, it stinks
First, the technical aspect. If you are an apple user, this keyboard will not work with El Capitan until you have installed version 10.11.2. Bastron claims this is Apple's fault and would not consider a return and refund. That meant this keyboard sat uselessly on my desk for about 2 months waiting for apple to release 10.11.2. Bastron and their retailer Stacksocial get a zero-star rating for their anti-customer policy and attitude. (I should have bought through Amazon which has a very customer friendly return policy. Now I know why Stacksocial was offering such a large discount. I won't buy any product from Bastron or Stacksocial in the future). As for usability, this product gets 1 star. The lack of tactile response, makes it difficult to type except by hunt-and-peck method, which requires you to be looking constantly at the keyboard even if you are an accomplished typist. Even a tiny misplacement of the finger will cause a mis-type. Also it does not have full functionality with all apps. Several functions, like page-up and page-down, won't work with some apps. For some reason it won't capitalize initial words or the pronoun "I" whereas Apple keyboard always does, nor will it add apostrophes automatically as Apple's keyboard does. This slows down typing as i have to back-track to add the capital. Bastron's installation instructions were useless for Apple. No menu or drop-down screen appears when you first attach the keyboard, as the instructions say will happen.Switching between the typing function and the track pad function is clumsy and time-consuming. I kept my Apple mouse and use that for track pad functions. What can I say that is good? Its pretty. So all-in-all, this Bastron keyboard is a pretty but expensive paper-weight for my desk. Frankly, i'll probably just throw it out.

A really neat idea and well made keyboard but ultimately just a gimmick. I can't speak for Windows but if you're going to use it on a Mac it stopped working when I updated to OS10.11. The Mac doesn't even recognize it anymore so it's completely useless. Also be aware that the aluminum has a pink tint to it even though it doesn't look it in the photos.

The future was yesterday. This is Tomorrow!
Great product. It's like nothing I've seen before! The keys are very responsive. If you like the physical touch of the keys, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you have used an iPad, or any other tablet, it shouldn't be an issue.

It can be a pretty keyboard for your tablet
It looks elegant. It can be a pretty keyboard for your tablet. But if you type a lot. This is not for you. You can hardly feel which key to press without looking at the keyboard. A lot of time you would end up mistyping words because you cannot feel the keys.
