Great Reference Guide
This book is a great reference guide that begins with the basics and moves to the advanced topics systematically. As a person coming back to C# after a several year break from programming, I find it easy to read from cover to cover, to get back in the swing of things. At the same time, I can look up specific topics, as I see fit. Both the table of contents and index are quite extensive, and well organized. The author includes background and evolution of the language syntax, so that up to date programming methods can be applied, but the reader will also be aware of older syntax that might still be used, or seen in code.

Good for quick refresh, but with poor sample code snippets
I am writing this review based on my past work experience spanning a decade as a .Net developer, during the first decade of it's existence since initial release in early 2000s. This is a good book for someone who is already proficient and well experienced with C#, or for someone who has past experience working in c#, but just want to refresh and catch up with latest features added. It provides a very quick and precise reference. The only negative I felt was that the example code is too shallow, and meaningless, with use of variable names like 'i' 's' , 'a' etc which I found very unprofessional and lazy work from the author. This book could have been much better if he had given more meaningful code snippets with better named variables and classes. Still, it is worthy to keep along with C# Pocket Reference by Albahari.
